My husband and I will DEFINITELY go back!! This bed & breakfast is gorgeous, spotless, and relaxing!! The owners are super sweet and very knowledgeable about the area. The food was too die for. You will not go hungry here :). My husband and I stayed in the king room, however since we were the only one's on the first... More

I highly recommend Magnolia Oaks. The house is incredibly elegant, yet very comfortable. It's off the beaten path and therefore peacefully quiet, but yet within easy range of north Georgia towns and attractions such as Dahlonega and Helen. The breakfasts are absolutely gourmet -- and don't be surprised if you get a breakfast dessert afterward. Also, hot and cold drinks... More

Terry and Marie are wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating to our "special needs," making sure that our vegetarian requests were met and my wife's aversion to dairy products were always taken into consideration. Breakfast at the inn is "awesome" and we loved Terry's rule of dessert with breakfast...mmmmm. We are planning on re-locating next year from NC to north... More

Terry and Marie are warm and friendly hosts. An example: we mentioned that we like diet coke in the morning instead of coffee. The next morning, the upstairs guest refrigerator had been stocked with diet coke. Also, fresh sugar cookies and brownies were temptingly available. The rooms were elegant, but inviting, and extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a 3... More

Words cannot describe the beauty of The Inn at Magnolia Oaks, nor the hospitality which you will receive there. Terry and Marie are some of the nicest people I have meet, and I look forward to many more weekend getaways. "Every meal needs a dessert, and breakfast is no exception."

Last minute weekend getaway plans found us seeking accommodations between the Dahlonega Wine Country and Lake Lanier in the Northeastern part of Georgia in late March. Our search led us to the Inn at Magnolia Oaks, ideally located in Clermont Georgia and we could not have been any more fortunate. A new residence built in the fashion of a plantation... More

Very clean, and up to date in all aspects. Very delicious breakfast. Highly decorated with lots of interesting history in each room.

What a beautiful home Terry and Marie Dawson have and how great is it that they share it as a bed and breakfast. From the beautiful rooms to the delicious breakfast why would you want to stay anywhere else. If you haven't tried it you should. Thanks for your southern hospitality.

I stayed at the Inn for one night on my way to a class in south Atlanta. The couple running the Inn were very nice, pleasant people. The place was very clean. The bed I slept in was out of this world. I usually stay in hotels, and usually don't sleep very well, so this was a new experience. I... More

I refrained from leaving a one star review the first time our reservation was cancelled, but after the second time, I think one star is far too generous. The first time I booked was sort of last minute, but we got a confirmation and we spoke on the phone and everything was set. The next day, after we were already... More

Innkeeping is a delightful occupation always filled with challenges. As painful as this review is to read, we appreciate the candor, as we are constantly looking for ways to improve the hospitality we offer our guests. We had to cancel this couple’s reservation in late April because of an unexpected family illness (an elderly parent in assisted living). Terry explained... More
