Don't kid yourself... this place is a motel. You check in to your room in the golf shop, and there are no king beds to be had. The rooms are motel rooms, nothing more than you'll find at a Red Roof Inn. The restaurant was deserted, and the indoor pool might as well have been outside with the water temperature... more

Recently I attended a business function at Kingwood Resort. I must say this was a pleasant surprise for our group – a new find. We just spent the weekend @ Kingwood & LOVED it!!!!!! The spa facilities were great & the staff was VERY friendly as well as knowledgable re: their jobs!!!!! I had two (2) sports massage & felt SO relaxed. The front desk staff was always friendly no matter HOW many times I called to get our friend's room or phone numbers.... more
