The hotel is old and needs renovating. A good cleaning would help. I stayed with a friend for two nights. The TV is from the early 1990's. A big box set. I hate to give a bad review because the staff was very nice. But the staff can't make the room something it isn't. There are not a lot of... More

We stayed here on our way to NC after a car breakdown. The staff was very accomodating to our late night unannounced arrival. Room was big and clean, and breakfast was free! Usually not a fan of roadside hotels of this sort, but this one was better than average, and very friendly employees.

This is a good place to stay if you are rafting the chattooga river that is near by. We took our youth group from our church. This was close by places to eat that the kids enjoyed! We really enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast! The the rooms were nice enough for high school kids to be happy!

The front desk staff is quite friendly and eager to please. The breakfast is above average and the eating area is clean. They stay right on top of everything as diners come and go. The rooms are in the process of being upgraded and patience is required if you want to keep the price point the same. Upon checking into... More

My wife and I have stayed here about for times. We always stay in Clayton on our way to the Smokies. The receptionist has always been helpful and friendly even when we have arrived at 2:30 in the morning. The rooms are really big which helps when you have all your backpacking gear. The bathroom is of average size and... More

My experience at this motel (which was just last week) was not at all a positive one. I am a frequent traveler and often stay at Choice hotels (including Quality Inns) and am Elite Platinum in their loyalty program. With that background, I have to honestly say that this property did not measure up to what I have come to... More

If you want a great place to stay while exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, this is the place. It's been under new mgmt for two yrs now and they are making changes every day. Renovation both inside and out. The suites are great. We had one with two queen beds in the bedroom and a door larding outside to... More

Really loved this place. Nice pool, off the road a bit so it was peaceful. Highly recommend this place. Very clean. Could smell the clean when you walk in the room. No language barrier with people at front desk. All English speaking. Full breakfast. Lots of good restaurants. Hidden gem.

Smooth check-in. No problems with our room. Room was average size and clean. It had frig, microwave, hair dryer and coffee maker. Couldn't hear outside noise even when we knew it was noisy outside since we were just outside of the room. Had two chairs for sitting. Breakfast was a little small. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.... More

Checkin was not a problem, but that was about the best of it. Hotel was fairly empty, but we were blessed to be stuck with an upstairs room at the end of the walk from the stairs. Room was basic and not "quality" and the mattress was uncomfortable and we only slept about half the time because of it. But,... More
