My experience at this motel (which was just last week) was not at all a positive one. I am a frequent traveler and often stay at Choice hotels (including Quality Inns) and am Elite Platinum in their loyalty program. With that background, I have to honestly say that this property did not measure up to what I have come to... More

If you want a great place to stay while exploring the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, this is the place. It's been under new mgmt for two yrs now and they are making changes every day. Renovation both inside and out. The suites are great. We had one with two queen beds in the bedroom and a door larding outside to... More

Really loved this place. Nice pool, off the road a bit so it was peaceful. Highly recommend this place. Very clean. Could smell the clean when you walk in the room. No language barrier with people at front desk. All English speaking. Full breakfast. Lots of good restaurants. Hidden gem.

Smooth check-in. No problems with our room. Room was average size and clean. It had frig, microwave, hair dryer and coffee maker. Couldn't hear outside noise even when we knew it was noisy outside since we were just outside of the room. Had two chairs for sitting. Breakfast was a little small. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.... More

Checkin was not a problem, but that was about the best of it. Hotel was fairly empty, but we were blessed to be stuck with an upstairs room at the end of the walk from the stairs. Room was basic and not "quality" and the mattress was uncomfortable and we only slept about half the time because of it. But,... More

We have stayed here several times before to be closely located to shopping and food (Mama G's is is the across the street). The suite are nice. Recently we stayed in a regular room because we booked late. The room was fine; no frills. 2 queen beds, mini fridge, flat screen TV, and microwave. The hot breakfast was a nice... More

We decided on a last minute trip to the mountains to see the fall leaves and a lot of hotels in the area were either booked or very over priced. I found this hotel and was very impressed. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and very reasonable. Location was minutes from the North Carolina border and very centrally located for our... More

I can't add much to the previous reviews. As most of them stated, large rooms, very clean, lots of towels, very good shower, nice breakfast and very nice staff. Even though our room faced the busy highway, with the door closed, we could barely hear any traffic. We would stay here again.

This was a nice place to stay for a base to do some day trips around the area. Comfortable room. We had one on the ground floor with one king bed and spacious room with small table, fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker and TV. The room was clean and fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was tasty, eggs, sausage, waffles, sweet rolls, breads,... More

This hotel is fine if passing thru the area and you are comfortable with a budget hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast was hot and the service was good. Very friendly service. My only comment would be that I wold have preferred a room in the front of the hotel, not the back.
