Smooth check-in. No problems with our room. Room was average size and clean. It had frig, microwave, hair dryer and coffee maker. Couldn't hear outside noise even when we knew it was noisy outside since we were just outside of the room. Had two chairs for sitting. Breakfast was a little small. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.... More

Checkin was not a problem, but that was about the best of it. Hotel was fairly empty, but we were blessed to be stuck with an upstairs room at the end of the walk from the stairs. Room was basic and not "quality" and the mattress was uncomfortable and we only slept about half the time because of it. But,... More

We have stayed here several times before to be closely located to shopping and food (Mama G's is is the across the street). The suite are nice. Recently we stayed in a regular room because we booked late. The room was fine; no frills. 2 queen beds, mini fridge, flat screen TV, and microwave. The hot breakfast was a nice... More

We decided on a last minute trip to the mountains to see the fall leaves and a lot of hotels in the area were either booked or very over priced. I found this hotel and was very impressed. Nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable and very reasonable. Location was minutes from the North Carolina border and very centrally located for our... More

I can't add much to the previous reviews. As most of them stated, large rooms, very clean, lots of towels, very good shower, nice breakfast and very nice staff. Even though our room faced the busy highway, with the door closed, we could barely hear any traffic. We would stay here again.

This was a nice place to stay for a base to do some day trips around the area. Comfortable room. We had one on the ground floor with one king bed and spacious room with small table, fridge, microwave, coffee/tea maker and TV. The room was clean and fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was tasty, eggs, sausage, waffles, sweet rolls, breads,... More

This hotel is fine if passing thru the area and you are comfortable with a budget hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast was hot and the service was good. Very friendly service. My only comment would be that I wold have preferred a room in the front of the hotel, not the back.

The hotel was comfortable, the room was a little dated, no flat screen TV, had an old model. Room was spacious with 2 queen beds and a table. Had a small microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was good, eggs, sausage and waffles, fruit and cereal and breads. Nothing fancy but it got us through the day. I would stay there... More

Arrived late 10:30 p.m. Made reservation in jan 2013 and pre-paid for the room. Was given room 119, a non smoking room. Room smelled terrible. Smelled like old cigarette smoke and other bad, nasty, unidentifiable smells. Called the front desk. Was told that the only options were a smoking room or a suite that cost a lot more. We should... Hotel room was pretty spacious. Room was fairly clean. The bathroom could use a little TLC (hair in tub). Grout needs to be redone. The location was central. We paid $80. Compared to the other places in town this was really nice. Breakfast had fresh eggs and sausage, bagels and yogurt. The staff were super friendly. I lost my phone…... More
