Alright, so after spending this last weekend (oct 9-11, 2009) at the Old Clayton Inn I can say that we’ll probably not be returning. The place is literally 15-20 years overdue for an overhaul. The place was very clean, and the staff was friendly. The water in the bath was rusty, does not have any charm to it, plain and dull comes to mind, over priced for what they offer. What a good hot meal, don't come here, you will not find it. more

We attended a small convention held at the Old Clayton Inn. The rooms were older but everything was clean and quaint. The food was definitely so/so. The morning complementary breakfast was OK but no fruit at all. The evening catered banquet at the Inn was definitely mediocre. more

Everyone should try it again! It is no longer associated with Country Hearth and is a great place to stay. The rooms have been redecorated and the staff is customer oriented. There has different food, service and management and I highly recommend it for leisure or business. Great place! more
