After spending a few nights in the lovely Beechwood Inn, I can give my highest recommendation! Every detail has been thought of. Each breakfast was a incredibly delicious, and my dinner there proved equal to any fine dining establishment anywhere. It was more an experience of the senses with local, fresh and seasonal ingredients. David and Gayle are spectacular hosts!

Really loved the feel of this B&B, host welcomed us and joined us for a glass of wine made by the innkeeper. We enjoyed visiting with him and learning about the history of the Inn and his family. Very comfortable room and bath. Breakfast prepared by our host was perfect! I can't wait to come back in the summer! Be... More

I am not a huge fan of B & B's, on the whole, desiring a little more anonymity when I get away for a few days, but when my husband and I decided to stay at the Beechwood Inn for an overnight respite from elder caregiving, we made a wise choice. The owners, and especially John, know how to provide... More

My wife and I found ourselves alone for Thanksgiving so we decided to a really nice B&B and find one we did. The Beechwood Inn is second to none. We stayed for two nights and were treated very well. The owners are great, rooms very comfortable and spacious and the breakfasts were both some of the best we've had. This... More

We're all familiar with John Denver's hit, Rocky Mountain High...in Colorado. Well, the weekend before Thanksgiving, my wife and I experienced a Rabun County High...in Georgia at the Beechwood Inn. We stayed in the Blueberry Cabin, in a cozy and intimate setting, away from the main building, yet close enough to enjoy all of its amenities. Gale, Dave and John... More

The nearly 100 year old inn has tons of charm and personality in spades. We loved the large, comfortable suite - ours even included a screened porch! Breakfast is included and was absolutely delicious each morning. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this older home with all its charms, so much more enjoyable than a bland, generic, chain hotel suite!

We agree, our historic home has lots of charm and personality. We take care as we modernize to not lose the character and history of Beechwood Inn. And our job with food is to do our farmers justice by not messing-up their wonderful products. Glad you enjoyed your visit in our “one of a kind” property. David Darugh/Innkeeper More
