The Beechwood is very quiet even though it's very close to Georgia 441. The house is an old one (circa 1922) and has sloped floors low doorways in some cases and a lot of angles. Having said that, it's very comfortable and the hosts are great people. Close to ATL, about a 90 minute drive, there's a ton of outdoor... More

My husband and I visited 2 nights, 9/2-9/4-2014. We booked the Rabun Suite and loved it. I would have rathered a downstairs room only because of climbing stairs, but the owner was kind enough to take our luggage to the room while we were gone. The mattress was excellent as well as the sheets. Our room had a small porch... More

We appreciate your visit and your kind words about our property and grounds, the silky 600 thread count sheets, the great breakfasts and our daily wine thirty. Also, thanks very much for recognizing and mentioning our great value. Each of the wonderful amenities we provide adds to our cost, and we know there are less expensive places to stay nearby.... We had a group of 16 people up from north Atlanta. We had a great time starting the moment we stepped in the door. Rooms were great, very clean fresh & welcoming. Staff very helpful. Dinner was awesome! Can't say enough. Wine pairing great, wine from local winery/vineyard ( Stonewall). Only down side no ice in the freezer, no glassware... More

Travelling to North Georgia for a friend's graduation ceremony, we originally had reservations elsewhere, however, after checking those accommodations, we immediately knew we had to find somewhere more agreeable for the night. We called several places around the area, both B&B's and hotels, and found no availability. Searching TripAdvisor, I found the Beechwood Inn listed and decided to give them... More

Hello! I am just writing so others can have realistic expectations. I was traveling alone for some much needed R&R. After the rave reviews for Beechwood, I thought this would be an amazing opportunity. For sure, the owners are delightful. Heck, they even did double bathroom cleaning duty when I mentioned that I am not so excited about the germs... More

Wifey and I wanted to spend a winery weekend in north Georgia and we picked the Beechwood Inn based on reviews here and its location. We were not disappointed. The inn was gorgeous. The common rooms were comfortable and the front veranda has excellent chairs and a nice view. We spent one morning and one evening on the deck, drinking... More

The Beechwood Inn was our choice for overnight after we completed a tour of North Georgia's wineries. It was lovely. The property is historic and the staff who greeted us gave us a very warm welcome. Unfortunately, we were not there on a Saturday when they offer dinner. Breakfast, however, was delicious and they offer a wine hour with nibbles... More

Beechwood Inn is conveniently located to many of North Georgia’s wineries and vineyards. And, as you know from your wine-thirty experience, we offer our own Beechwood Inn wines for tasting with light appetizers every evening. Glad you found breakfast delicious and your bed comfortable- exactly what a bed and breakfast should provide. More

Looking for something to do in North Ga. at the spur of the moment, my wife and I saw the hotel's ad for a Dinner and Wine Pairing. We decided to go and sleep over at the inn - too much wine and food to attempt a drive back to Atlanta.. Food was superb - and I am a "foodie".... More
