My wife and I took a 2-day work break (from Atlanta's heat and traffic) and celebrated her birthday here. Location is great. It really is in the hills/mountains and the grounds are extensive. You really do 'get away'. A must is to go down the dirt road (Bear Gap) to Minnehaha Falls (an uphill hike is required - not bad).... more

My wife and I had our wedding at Glen-Ella on June 13. The Inn was filled with only our friends and family for the weekend. Every one commented on how much they enjoyed staying at Glen-Ella. We also had lots of comments on the how great the food was. Several people told us that this was the best food they... more

My wife and I have been coming up to Glen-Ella since September of 2001 and have found that this serene mountain inn is a perfect escape from Atlanta and the kids for a couple of days. Glen-Ella has quaint rooms that offer up plenty of living space for two and are always impeccably clean. The service staff at the inn... more

My husband and I stayed at Glen Ella and were struck by the beauty of the place, the AMAZING food, and the hospitality of the owners and staff. We were introduced to the owners within a few minutes of our arrival, and had several chances to chat with them during the weekend. The pool was lovely, as was the herb... more

My husband and I have been visiting Glen Ella for years! We stumbled across it ona trip to the Gorge over 10 years ago and have been enjoying it ever since. Although the former owners, Barry and Bobby, are no longer in charge, the current owners have kept the pace that was set. The food and accomodations are still as... more

We put together a last-minute, get-out-of town spring break plan. Hoping to find a place we could relax with two children (ages 5 & 7), enjoy some warmer weather, and that required a relatively manageable drive, we discovered Glen-Ella. We hope to come again and again. We stayed 4 nights in one of the suites which was ideal for our... more

I wanted to surprise my husband with a get-away for his birthday. I wanted a quaint place that was quiet, well appointed and had good food. I had remembered traveling to Glen Ella years ago for the resturant and at that time the food was excellent! I decided to call Glen Ella to make reservations. First off, the Inn Keepers,... more

The Inn offers a quiet and comfortable retreat from the city with mountain air and comfortable rocking chairs that face natural landscape -you have a choice of open meadow or pine woodlands. The fabulous cuisine leaves you feeling you have eaten... more
