My husband and I spent a long weekend (3 nights) at the Lake Allatoona Inn and cannot wait to return. Our room was clean and had a HUGE bed and an amazing heated jetted tub! Lynn was the perfect host and the breakfasts were served on time and were delicious! We stayed over valentines day and were surprised with a... More

My significant other and I stayed at the Bed & Breakfast this past weekend. The location was perfect for us as it was convenient to Atlanta, without the frenzy of the city. The room and accommodations were quaint but tastefully elegant. We felt right at home. The owners were very pleasant but not overly intrusive as we've experienced at other... More

I am very upset that anyone can write something that is untrue. First the dog is not considered a service dog by legal definition and I quote from a US site " Although people with PTSD who have a service dog for a physical ... support, or being a companion do not qualify a dog to be a service animal.'... My goal was to stay some place scenic for a getaway from Atlanta. When first looking at the Lake Allatoona Inn website, I was sold by the Victorian house and the fact that Lake Allatoona is just across the road. Wide wrapping Victorian porches to sit, rock and read on are so inviting but bring bug spray if mosquitoes find... More

We stayed here one night returning from vacation in Florida. The home is very beautiful and comfortable. The owners work hard to keep the grounds looking beautiful. The breakfast in the morning was a little late getting served, but was still good. The biggest complaint is the there was a lot of dust in our room and the bathroom was... More

What a beautiful Inn, It is located close to Chattanooga Tennessee, Atlanta, and Marietta Georgia, this is a perfect place to stay. The Inn is in a quiet area of Northwestern Georgia and is surrounded by plenty to see and do. We had a very beautiful outdoor wedding on the grounds of the inn for my daughter. The gazebo area was beautiful with the fall colors and the weather was perfect. Lynn and her family did a great job setting everything up and helping us with all the details. The area they had for the reception was perfect as well. We... More

I surprised my girlfriend with a night stay in the General Coarse's suite. This room was great. The bed was super comfortable, and my girlfriend and I slept better here than we do in our own bed. The room also has access to a nice wrap around balcony that faces the morning sun. But the true highlight of the room... More

We rented the "Lake Cabin" run by Lake Allatoona Inn. As shown on their website, we would be right on the water. We envisioned walking out the door, across the lawn, and to the dock on Lake Allatoona. Unfortunately the lake was a winding downhill walk through exposed tree roots, some distance from the cabin. That meant that two family... More

We stayed at the Allatoona Inn's lake home. We were very disappointed that the house was quite a walk from the lake, not on the lake, as advertised. The lake is beautiful but we were not able to use it as not all of the people in our group could make the walk to the beach. The house, although cute,... More

We being the owners of the Lake Allatoona House are making this response as to the misunderstandings that were represented in this review. First, the house is a Lake house and the lake is directly behind it. The Corp of Engineers does own the first 500 ft around the lake therefore homes and buildings can not be built that close....
