My mom, uncle, and I spent Saturday night at the Econo Lodge after going on the Emerald Princess cruise. We used a coupon we found in one of the discount hotel books. Our room was clean, and the rollaway we had requested was all ready and waiting for us when we arrived in the wee hours of the morning. Our beds, even the rollaway were very comfortable. We did not get breakfast because we slept late, but they said breakfast had hot/cold cereals, bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, etc. I had no complaints about the room itself, except that normally I prefer rooms to have a microwave and fridge. My mom did use the inroom coffeemaker. Given the opportunity, I would probably stay at the EconoLodge again. Oh, another huge bonus. EconoLodge is right next door to one of the best restaurants in Brunswick - and one of our family's favorites: Crackers. They serve an awesome low country boil on the weekends!
