Waters Hill Bed and Breakfast is at the top of my list! The owners, Matthew and Jack, are personable and friendly. Their home is an absolute delight. There are wonderful knick-knacks throughout the entire place, yet it's very comfortable anywhere inside in one of the sitting rooms, or outside on one of their porches. The breakfasts were all special and... More

This was our first time in Brunswick. So we thought it wise to stay in town. I immediately fell in love with the Inn. Mathew and Jack are the most gracious of hosts. The breakfast is served in a gorgeous dining room. Loved the Bisquits and gravy. The house was beautifully decorated for the season. The outdoor lights were spectacular.... More

This was our 4th time here and as usual, we had an extraordinary stay. The place is stunning, the innkeepers are terrific, and we always feel like we are at home but also on a relaxing vacation. We are planning a return trip next summer. Jack, those were the BEST cheesy grits I've ever had and I've had a lot... More

My husband and I stayed here last weekend. We attended a wedding at St Simmons, Is. This was perfect because we just zipped across the causeway and we were there. The food at the hotel was perfect , I really liked the retro kitchen, my husband liked the bar. We both liked the antiques in the house, there were a... More

My fiancé and I stayed here for three nights and honestly we had a hard time leaving. The house is so packed with antiques and whatnots that we found something new each day. The owners, Matthew and Jack, made all the guests feel like family and fed us very well with a gourmet breakfast each morning and access to the... More

This bed and breakfast is a beautifully restored 1870's home, with excellent food and hospitality. It is full of artwork and antiques. We enjoyed talking with the hosts. It is in a great location. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Eighteen “Excellent’ reviews out of nineteen, and the nineteenth a “Very Good.” We are happy to add our own “Excellent’ to that imposing record. We two seniors have been in quite a few b&b’s, and WatersHill ranks with the topmost. Located several blocks from the center of town down Union Street, which must have been the ‘Millionaire’s Mile” of post-bellum... More

I would echo everything other reviewers have said. Such a lovely place to stay. Hosts kind and attentive. House filled with curiosities - a dream for those interested in antiques. We mentioned that we were gluten free and they made us a special breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

If you are looking for a small, relaxing getaway I highly recommend both Brunswick and Watershill. We are a little bit of an younger, alternative lifestyle couple and felt at ease with Jack and Matthew. Southern hospitality was prominent and Jack keeps the conversation flowing no matter the diversity of the guests. The downtown is a little abandoned but good... More

My sister and I recently spent a night at Watershill, and are so glad that we did! Jack and Matthew, the hosts, are funny, informative, and friendly. The house is intriguing, and completely--I mean almost every inch completely--filled with antiques from various eras and countries. Breakfast was very good, and drinks or wine were available at night. Our room was... More
