Being my first time in home stay, it has really been a perfect one! The moment we met each other, we could feel the strong family connection as I was welcomed by them when I first arrived at their home. For a solo traveller like me, I always felt very safe and comfortable at Babu's Home as well as his... More

We had great hospitality from Babu and his family. The location was good for an arrival in Nepal, within an hour of the airport, but in the relative quiet and peace of the country. The view from our room was mostly of green fields - rice and other crops. The best aspect was the very warm family atmosphere, and the... More

Babu and his family are really friendly and make you feel as a member of their family. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and live real Nepali life this is the best place to do it. Thank you very much for letting us stay with you.

I LOVED my stay at Babu's and Belku's home this past summer. After staying in Thamel for 3 nights and then in Nagarkot for 2, I then stayed with Babu and Belbu in their home and this is when my visit to Nepal really started! Babu picked me up from my hotel in Nagarkot, carried my heavy heavy luggage into... More

This homestay is incredible. This was my first time visiting Nepal and I went straight from the airport to Babu's home located in a beautiful, peaceful village close to Kathmandu and all the attractions, but far enough away that the air is fresh and the only noises you hear are from daily life in the village. I stayed at the... More

I stayed at Homestay Nepal with my two children (ages 10 and 11) for 10 days in May 2014 at the end of a month-long trip through Nepal. What can I say!!!!!!??? The Trip Advisor reviews are all amazing, and they have won Travellers Choice awards several years running for their tiny business - and it is all totally deserved!!!... More

This was second time visiting Babu and Belku at their awesome home away from home. It is away from all the bustling Kathmandu. If you looking to unwind in a country setting and see the life of harvesters and farmers then Babu is the place for you! Day hikes are also available from Babu. Belku will show you amazing hospitality... More

I stumbled upon Baburaja's Homestay Nepal while researching for my trip to Nepal. The glowing reviews and his #1 ranking on TripAdvisor sealed the deal for me. Still, as it was my very first homestay experience, I didn't want to expect too much lest it turned out to be all hype. Babu and I exchanged several emails before we confirmed... More

I spent two weeks their with my family and it was really great. The food was amazing and we felt just like at home. This family is so nice and kind with everybody. It is easy to visit the place near such as Kathmandu or Boudhanath with good guides. The scenery is beautiful and the place is quiet. The people... More

We stayed at Babus after a friend's recommendation. It is a really cool idea, you stay with an actual family and eat traditional food and see how they live. They also have good trekking options and we did their unseen Nepal 5 day trek. They have big rooms and western toilets with hot showers, so probably not a typical family.... More
