“Ok have stayed in better”

For a small hotel this is not all that bad. Just a few minor things first of all the housekeeper made the bed and left fresh towels but that was it. I had to go to the front desk to get coffee for the next morning as well as report that the coffee area in our room was still dirty... More

“Stinky!!”

This hotel has a frequesnt guest from Asia who is a very heavy snoker, everytime I yave stayed here, no matter how many times I stay and request non-smokinh accomodations, I still have sheets or a room that smells of smoke,I have asthma, bad news More

Fist let me appologize for your uncomfortable stay and I thank you for your review on our room sheets smelling like smoke. I now have a program that washes sheets from the smoking rooms separate from the nonsmoking rooms. We have also started the new sparkle cleaning program mandated by IHG-parent company of Holiday Inn Express that helps with this.... More

Came down for a friend's wedding. I usually prefer to stay in cabins when going to the mountains, so staying in a hotel was not my first choice, however I was pleasantly surprised!! Stayed 2 nights in late October, 2011. Hotel very clean. Stay away from area over lobby on second floor as they have put the tread mill on the second floor and when a quest is using the treadmill you can hear every step taken by the person running on the treadmill. Otherwise this is an excellent hotel. More

Yes I agreed with the guest when I went in the room. At that point I directed my maintenance man to remove all the bedding from the room and then fog the room up with a chemical known as 'Odor Ban'. Our stay in Blairsville was comfy, clean, and quiet. Is the Holiday Inn Express in Blairsville a spectacular hotel? No. I would say it was one of the more kempt and enjoyable Holiday Inn experiences I've had. Front Desk Jane gave us some wonderful dinner recommendations. More
