This was an extremely unique place to stay. I loved being in the Mountians and it was much cooler than surrounding areas. You can walk on the Appelation trail and there are many waterfall hikes close by. The cabins are fully furnished and there are games and videos you can take from the store. A must stay there.

We loved the Blood Mountains Cabins. Spent a long weekend there to hike the nearby AT and other trails. The cabins are basic, but very clean and cozy. All the standard kitchen dishes and utensils are provided, so you have everything you need to cook your own meals. Bed and bath linens are also provided, We stayed in the Deer... More

Tried to get a room with a registered and well trained "FULL ACCESS" Service Dog and they recommended I find a pet friendly facility. "FULL ACCESS" Service Dogs are NOT "pets". This review board requires a minimum of 800 characters, so I suppose I'll just simply add that all I really know of this place is that it is NOT... More

Today Blood Mt Cabins is hosting a group of 11 veterans with a service dog sponsored by a group called Walk from the War. This is our second year to host this group with a service dog. The gentleman that states we turned him away hung up on us when we questioned his need for 2 dogs. We are glad... More

We enjoyed our stay here with the kids. Bobcat cabin near road does have a good mtn. View. Traffic noise didn't bother us. Kids loved the loft to play in and sleep. If you are a family on a budget and want to have some money to also do other activities during the day, this is the place for you.... More

We stayed at the Deer Cabin. The scenery from the back deck is impressive. Just a short walk to the AT trail, Vogel State Park, Brasston Bald and other great birding and hiking places. The loud noise from motorcycles is a little loud, but other than that the place is just a great retreat from everything.

My wife and I stayed in the Blood Mountain Bobcat cabin over the Memorial 3 day weekend. The cabin itself is OK except for the closet area where the floor contains the HVAC return vent/filter; which had so much dust it looked like sludge and the vacuum cleaner stored there was filthy. The TV is an old tiny set -... More

Blood Mt. Cabins are located on a winding mountain road that goes up to a 3,000 foot elevation. The road is a favorite ride for both motorcycles and bicycles. On holiday weekends there will be riders during the day, but little noise in the evening on weekends. During the week we rarely have motorcycle noise day or night. We also... More

This place is great. If I had a country home this would be it. I have stayed here several times and enjoyed it each time. The cabins and scenery are great! The staff is supper nice. The AT goes right near the cabins. If country roads take you home, they probably will take you here!

After hiking the AT from Springer Mountain to Neels Gap mostly in rain and cold, this place was a welcome respite from the elements. Super friendly and accommodating owners. They even did our load of laundry for free. Interesting store with lots of stuff to look at. Recommend for hikers and families alike.

I stayed here during one of the coldest nights in the season. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and helped us with anything that we needed, including laundry. The price was reasonable and split between myself and two friends. I would stay here again.
