I used Blood Mountain Cabins as my home base for 3 days of Appalachian Trail day hikes. Arrived the first night after a long dark drive in the cold and it was such a pleasure to unlock the door of Raccoon cabin and find a warm haven with a pleasant woodsmoke aroma. All the appliances worked, the shower was hot,... More

After staying in the Wolf cabin last Friday and Saturday, I would not hesitate to recommend these cabins to anyway looking for a rustic but clean and well maintained cabin getaway in the north Georgia mountains. Great views of the valley below, and convenient for hiking the Appalachian Trail as well as exploring many of north Georgia's quaint little towns.... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Mountain Lion cabin for 2 nights. It was clean and cozy, with a cute loft. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the view--even in the winter it's a beautiful sight. There is a small TV (with DirecTV) and a... More

Our family stayed in the Bobcat Cabin for Christmas. The cabin was simple, clean, comfortable, and had an excellent view which is exactly what we were looking for. The location is amazing. You can hike on the Appalachian Trail to Blood Mountain without having to drive. The owners (Matt and Traci) were extremely helpful and welcoming. We are sure to... More

My husband took me to the mcnulty cabin and it was amazing! We loved sitting by the fire at night and listening to the water rolling down the mountain side. The owners took the time to tell us about the best local places to visit. The area had so much to offer and we are already planning our next trip.

Cabin provided just what we needed after hiking for 3 days in rain. It was warm, dry, soft bed, hot showers with plenty of towels! Kitchen included cookware, dishes and utensils. The owners were super. When we arrived, soaked to bone, the store was closed but they had our cabin ready and had even put our dropped boxes with our... More

Very quaint cabin. Owners were super nice and were able to address concerns we had. We did have an issue and it was quickly resolved. Will return. This is a family owned business and very friendly. Cabins are very centrally located almost across from Vogel State Park and Blairsville. Cabin is fully equipped and furnished.

After two days of monsoons on the Appalachian Trail, these cabins were incredible. The owner was willing to check us in after the official closing time, and even washed our very dirty trail clothes for no charge. After nearly swimming to Neel's Gap from from the top of Blood Mountain, it was fantastic to be clean and dry and have... More

This was an extremely unique place to stay. I loved being in the Mountians and it was much cooler than surrounding areas. You can walk on the Appelation trail and there are many waterfall hikes close by. The cabins are fully furnished and there are games and videos you can take from the store. A must stay there.
