I'm glad I waited to write this review. If I would have wrote it a day earlier it would have been a whole lot different. We camped here coming in on Saturday and it was CROWDED. Not very many good sites left. But Sunday morning everyone left and it was a quite place to stay. The falls are a sight... More

I actually don't want to tell you how nice this place was because then too many people may spoil it for me on my next trip :) The campsites were amazingly well-kept and clean. Not on top of each other. Clean facilities.

We stayed in the Riverside Campground Site #24 two nights after making an online reservation. PROS: The park is right off of I-75 and easy to locate. We experienced prompt check-in and picked our site from several available. The campground is wooded with grassy spaces. Most spaces are level and some were pull through. There is a large playground for... More

The campground itself is very hard to find. Calling the campground is of absolutely no use because not only doesn't the staff answer the phones, they choose not toreturn calls. We paid 32.00 for a site, pkus a five dollar park fee. Thirty seven dollars for a less than twenty four hour stay in a state park?

We stayed in Yurt #6 for Labor Day Weekend and it was great! Nice view of the lake and fairly private cooking/eating area. We rented a paddle boat one morning and a canoe another for $5 per hour and toured around. The falls are nice and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the bottom. There is nowhere to... More
