We were placed here for overnight waiting for our RV to be ready for pick up. I usually love older places BUT this hotel definitely had some issues. Our room was facing onto Park Ave. During the day it was pleasant sitting on the balcony among the ferns however the patrons at the three restaurants/bars across the street were loud... More

I really cannot comment on the reviews of previous guests regarding the decrepid exterior, dilapidated rooms or the roaring trains passing right behind the inn that are not conducive to restful sleep. What I can comment on is the heartlessness of the hotel staff. My husband and I were on the way to Orlando when we received the call that... More

Agree with all the comments which have been posted recently.....we wish we had read them before booking. While rooms on the front may suffer from the problem of noisy diners, the views at the back through the cobwebbed windows overlooking the exhausts and piping from the neighbors facilities, are supplemented by the fact that the railway line runs less than... The location is prime - if you don't mind listening to loud diners across the street until 2 am. The price of the room doesn't match expectations. We were looking for a fun getaway night while I was taking an art class in town. We are experienced hotel users and know pretension when we see it it. This place pretends... More

Checked in to this 28 room - 1920's vintage property located on the main drag in quaint Winter Park. Staff is polite and attentive, the rooms are clean, but room service is provided by a restaurant located next door (order early, they close at 9:30), there are no minibars, wifi, or even a simple bottle of water available (hike a... I have always wanted to stay at the park plaza since graduating from Rollins years ago. We were in town for one night to see a friend and I was excited for my husband to see Park Ave and finally get to stay in the Park Plaza hotel. The first impression did not disappoint-- the hotel has a very boutique... More

My mom, sister, and I stayed at the Park Plaza for just one night while visiting Rollins. We arrived and were immediately treated like royalty. They brought us right to our room, which although were slightly small, they were well kept and quite charming. We got in late at night, and immediately went to bed after arriving, and it was... Top of the line service from the moment we walked in the door. Greeted by a warm and friendly staff I felt like we were royalty! The service was impeccable and the charming atmosphere made in like non other. Coffee, juice and delicious muffins brought to our room the next morning were just what we needed to start off our... Our room was on the quiet side of the hotel- charming but dark- very little natural light and the windows do not open. Love the location for access to Rollins, shopping, and dining. Heard the trains at night, but ear plugs helped a lot.

From checking in, Jerry, and indeed, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. From the complimentary glasses of wine to the continental breakfast (all included) this was an outstanding experience. We have stayed in many many places included the Ritz and Fairmont just to name a couple and I can truthfully say that this hotel stacks up with the... More
