My wife and I are pretty local and just wanted a quick get away. The hotel is exactly what we were looking for, not your typical hotel lots of charm and most of the staff was wonderful and I am very sorry I can not remember the name of the Stewart that assisted us to our room. He was very... More

It is marketed as a "historic" hotel which basically means it needs updating bad! For example, the hallway outside my room was a huge hole in the ceiling. The beds were old and uncomfortable and the bathroom was as small as a linen closet!! Definitely will not be coming back

We were driving through this beautiful town and stopped without a reservation. I called to see if Park Plaza had a room. With the front desk's help, we found our way to their front door, which is right in the middle of town, but so beautifully hidden by overhanging Boston ferns, and architecture not usual of a hotel, where we... We enjoyed our stay at Park Plaza Hotel an historic old hotel with good bedding and low prices compared to the Alfond Hotel. The rooms are very small and bathroom as well. It was hard moving around the room with 2 tall adults and only 1 person in bathroom. We chose to upgrade to the king room with a living... More

Stayed at Park Plaza for just a get away for the weekend and what wonderful weekend it was. The front desk could of not been better on pointing me to the sights of Winter Park and the near by restaurants was just steps away. So nice to park car on Friday and not needing it till Monday checkout. With NO... More

When you stay at a hotel on the historic register you can assume that there will be a shortage of amenities inherent in its nature as an old property. However, it is easily appreciated for its authenticity and usually welcoming atmosphere. That used to be the case at the Park Plaza. My wife and I spent two evenings here recently... More

It's easy to be a wonderful host for a day or two. Probably more of a challenge when the guest is around for considerably longer. A friend's surgery called for a prolonged stay at the Park Plaza and the staff were amazing hosts for every moment of my stay. Upgraded. HVAC made strange (to my hyper-sensitive ears) noises, so I... We did not stay here, but Park Plaza has a very nice bar, which opens out onto the street. We spent a wonderful few hours sitting here watching the world go by. The service was excellent and the choices of 'bar' meals was vey good. For those who want more the restaurant looked very good and was very popular. We... More

We loved our stay in February. We check in they were nice to give us a upgrade to a suite. The room was the old time charm with the modern amenities. The bathroom was small , but oh that bath tub was so deep and nice for a wonderful bath. The breakfast was very good. Muffins yummy. coffee and juice... More
