I stayed here on a couple of different occasions. First time was upstairs, clean, bug free (at least as far as I can tell), with a small fridge. A pleasant stay both times. Second time was down stairs next to where I parked and McDonald's across the street. Price is always right, about $65 tax/tag and out the door. I'll... More

Though not fancy, the rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and are a great value! Walking distance to CVS and restaurants and very close to a rec trail for jogs or walks. No complaints at all. Would happily stay there again if I find myself in Winter Haven in the future.

Pro -- price. Height of the season in the center of the state and the Place To Be for Northern folks enduring this winter series of blizzards, and the price for 2 dbl beds (and absolutely no frills) was great. Room and bath were clean if desperately in need of an update (retro mid-century, anyone?), and beds were both quite... More

This is a nice 2 star motel, NO amenities, I mean zero. The ice even costs you a quarter. The pool is filled in with ground. This was an awesome motel in it's day. That being said this motel was very clean and very well kept up for it's age. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. Would not... More

The place has seen better days. Thought a bit expensive for what you get. Met what we needed for our 1 night stay. Microwave, frig in room, no coffee maker, charge for ice, flat screen TV, good WiFi and its free, ceiling fan.

I've stayed at this motel many, many years ago, it was a clean place to stay then and so, when the need arose to travel to Winter Haven on a family matter, I took a chance, again. While the motel is in need of some work and it doesn't have the amenities afforded by the chain operations in the area,... More

Budget Inn of Winter Haven is an inexpensive small motel that has with all the basics and comforts needed for a decent stay. It's clean, well-kept, but worn. It didn't smell bad. The hotel has an older Florida style that reminded me of my grandmother's home in South Florida when I was little. (My son called it boring. LOL.) It's... More

I booked the hotel to get an early start @ Legoland. Budget Inn offered the best price in town. I was worried that I would get. I was happily suprised to find a clean room, with microwave and mini fridge, free wi-fi, hot water and comfortable beds. That was all I needed and all we got. No coffee maker, iron... More

Close to "downtown" Winterhaven. Budget Inn motel is convenient, clean and quite inexpensive. The owners are excellent. Highly recommended. Three blocks south are some very nice bars and restaurants. Cypress Gardens is sort of defunct but LegoLand is reclaiming and expanding it.
