Points of interest: - Hotel staff are fantastic, and live just upstairs. Call the desk 24 hours a day for just about anything. - Complimentary breakfasts are made-to-order in the dining room, right outside the rooms. Homemade pancakes, waffles, and french toast with maple syrup, sausage, bacon, and eggs any style, and outstanding coffee. - Every room is different. Select... more

We knew about the Edgewater Hotel because we had lived in Winter Garden, a small, and picturesque farming town outside of Orlando before moving to Key West. Also, it just happens to be one of the closest towns to Walt Disney World. The Edgewater sits on Plant Street, in the historic downtown area as a reminder of a time long... more

Relaxing. Staff was GREAT!!! Lots of places to eat with a variety on menus. Easy access to a bike route and rentals were cheap. Great little town common area with big swings to relax on. Breakfast was great and included. Old world charm more

The hotel was quaint and peaceful. The staff was super friendly, and they cooked whatever you wanted for breakfast, which was delicious. Our suite was very quiet. The rooms have wireless internet access, but no phones. Also, the televisions are very small. If you want a lot of frills, this is not the place for you. If you want tranquility... more

I highly recommend this B&B!!! There's history to the building and a great story to the owners/investors who made it all happen. Several young couples have created a warm, charming place for all the guests (the men are all part of a band and the pianist plays in the lobby sometimes). The clientele are as friendly as the staff (owners)... more

What a charming step back in history. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay at the Edgewater. This is an early 1900's experience in a restored, comfortable and clean hotel, complete with its 1920s vintage Otis elevator...you are even allowed to use its car operating switch handle to help you arrive at your floor. The staff is very... more
