I stayed for three nights over the 4th July weekend. Arrived from Miami and had to leave a day early. The service, standards and whole experience was completely superb! Relaxed and quiet place with friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful garden on the water canals in Ft Lauderdale. Close to gay circuit and beach, yet not in the middle of it all. We stayed for 11 nights in April 2009 after much research into accomodation in Fort Lauderdale. What swung The Cabanas Guesthouse for us was the kitchenettes in some of the rooms. Stayed in Feb 2008 as well. Nothing much has changed with the Cabanas as far as I could tell. Physical plant was in no better and no worse condition than during the last visit.
