Great sites. All lots are wooded with privacy. The Culture Center is also interesting. There are craftsman on site. Blacksmith, weavers, etc. stayed three days. Gift shop with a lot of Florida books, gifts. Everyone was very nice, as is the norm for most State Parks. Restrooms are very clean in Campground.

My fiance and friends went to Florida folk fest here this year as well as last and it has been a fantastic experience each time. There is a lot to do here so it makes a great destination for couples, friends or family with children. Hiking, swimming, picnic, bike ride, river its good for canoeing (but you need to bring... Very quiet and shaded campground. Spacious campsites. Campsites toward back of campground more shaded and private. Fire ring and picnic table at each campsite. No sewer hook ups but has dump station. Lots of pull through sites. Lots of great hiking trails. If you are going there to kayak you should call ahead to see if access to Suwannee river... More

After visiting 2 "parking lot" state park campgrounds, this was a refreshing change. Most sites are spacious and private. Bathrooms and showers were clean, washing machines worked. Fun to see crafts people at work daily. Impressive dioramas in Stephen Foster museum. Hammer dulcimer player was amazing. Snack/craft store had wifi and fresh coffee. Playgrounds would have been great for my... More

We stay here each year in May when our camping club has their Spring Rally. The sites are nice, the roads are paved and the bath houses are clean. Lots of trails for hiking, biking, or riding the golf cart along the Suwanee river. We look forward to coming back year after year.

We stayed in the wonderful cabins at Stephen C. Foster. They back right up to the banks of the Suwanee for ease in putting in a canoe or a nice walk along the river. Don't miss the Carillon with the exhibits inside detailing Foster's life and music, including a handwritten page with the words he wrote to Old Folks at... More

The park is beautiful with well kept gardens. The house is a must to look around and the shop is full of unusual items to buy! The weekend that we stayed over there was a craft fair in the little village on site. Everyone enjoyed explaining what they where up to, this was very engaging. The camp ground sites where... More

We had such a nice time staying in the cabin at Stephen Foster a couple weekends ago. The park is beautiful, nice hiking trail along the river, very well maintained grounds and buildings. Even though it rained one night while we were there, we had a great time and got a lot of hiking and biking in. The cabins are... More

We stayed in the campground with our 4 kids during the week of the Rural Folk Days Festival". The campsites were well attended to and hosted a variety of tents, RVs, and campers. There were plenty of trees throughout that gave it a woodsy feel. Bath houses were some of the cleanest and well maintained that I've seen. The whole... More

Several of us stayed at this state park for the Ididaride mountain bike ride in January. Unlike so many of the campgrounds in north Florida that are essentially giant RV parking lots, SFFC SP offers some (relative) privacy and comfort for tenters and RV'ers alike. The sites are clean and fringed with local vegetation like palm and pine trees. The... More
