The check in area is huge! And the check in lines move very quickly. I find each time I stay here the service gets better and better. The rooms are great. They have been doing a lot of upgrading of the furniture in the last couple years. Very comfortable beds. Clean crisp linens. Well stocked kitchens. Beautiful bathrooms. The elevators... More

Booked this location after a alot of consideration back in August. At the time of the booking I requested an "A" room after reading many reviews on this site. I was told we would be in the Bonaventure Resort in a newly remodeled "A" room which had a king sized bed, jacuzzi, large living room with a queen sized pull... More

I called two weeks before check in and asked for a ground floor and if they allowed pets in rooms being I have allergies. I was told pets were allowed in only two buildings and I was assured that I would not be in a room or building where there were pets. I called again a week later to reconfirmed... More

Just to be clear, the unit to which you are assigned at check-in is not necessarily in the building pictured on-line or even the group of buildings on site with that one. There are a few groups of buildings within a five minute drive of that building – the Heron group, the Flamingo group, the Sandpiper, etc. to which you... More

And that's just for starters! We booked this place several months ago and asked for a refurbished, newer B unit because it was only my husband and myself. The place was so outdated, disgusting, unclean (dust everywhere). When you buy a timeshare, they show you a beautiful place...what you get is terrible. I could have done better at a cheap... More

we have been staying at vacation village Bonaventure for many years. It fits the bill. Price is good, location between Fort Lauderdale and Miami is good. More of a suburban location but for our purposes it is great. Found out that certain buildings are pet friendly so we will definitely be back. They pest control the rooms after a pet... More

We stayed in the Sandpiper I building and we had an "A" unit. The A units are larger than the B units with a full kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, refrigerator) and a table setting for 6. Good thing there were only 2 of us as there was very little food prep equipment - the basics were there (saucepans... More

We stayed in the Ibis Bldg. which was great because the pool was out our back door. We had a B Unit which has a "mini kitchen." This consists of a full sized-fridge, a microwave, a two burner cook-top, a toaster, and an electric frying pan. You have dishes and flatware for 6, I think, a frying pan, and a... More

This was a week long trip and our family had an A and B unit. It was basically clean, only saw two bugs the whole week, and one lizard (inside). Towel exchange was helpful. Pools were nice. Basic accommodations. The kitchen did not have a cookie sheet, but was otherwise decently equipped. Very uncomfortable beds. The resort isn't near much... More

My husband and I had 4 days between vacationing in West Palm Beach and Charlotte Harbor so we used RCI points to stay here since it was a good half-way point and near the Everglades. Other than being near restaurants, having decent walking paths, and a nice pool, there's not much to recommend. We stayed in Sandpiper I and had... More
