I booked the hotel for one night in West Palm Beach, FL. When I got to the airport, I called to ask if the hotel shuttle would be along soon. They said that it had left the hotel and would be there in about five minutes. We waited for over 30 minutes with no sign of the shuttle in spite... more

The Doubletree is a very nice hotel, nice and clean room. Even if it is far from City Place it offers a good shuttle service. I would recommend it to anyone going to West Palm Beach. more

I'll start out with the bad... the shuttle is soo unreliable. It takes forever to get picked up from anywhere (airport and CityPlace). The driver's are nice and courteous, but the front desk staff need to have a better sense of direction. They never get the time right. If they say 10mins - give yourself 40mins! I'm serious. Stayed 2 nights here while visiting family. Clean & spacious rooms. Remodeling turned out fantasitc (We stayed here in 2006 for daughter's wedding.) Fridge, minibar are great. My husband will come back just for the warm cookies!! more

The hotel was great for business travel- the lobby had computers with a printer- the wireless connection in the room worked great. Ignore the earlier reviews during name change. This hotel is a gem. My room was spectacular with huge hot tub, separate shower, sitting room and FREE WI FI internet. I learned years ago not to count on a hotel restaurant in Florida since they don't get the business -- everyone goes to destination restaurants. Airport hotel restaurants are always too... more

Terrible! From booking our room to leaving and finding they kept $894 charged against our credti card a week after we left. (When we paid the bill in full, the amount was $602.) The pillows looked nice, but flattened down to practically nothing. Even with three pillows each we couldn't get a solid night's sleep, and we stayed three nights.... more
