We're 2 week RCI owners at The Driftwood and we're looking forward to our stay next year. We bought it sight unseen (yes) but don't regret it at all. It's on the small scale which is what we prefer rather than a highrise 25 floors up. We have a ground floor studio which was ample with a 25 second walk... more

I stayed at The Driftwood the night before and the night of my wedding. I was disappointed that when we arrived at 4:30pm our room was still not ready. We needed to change for the rehearsal dinner and the room not being ready was problematic. The room itself was interesting. We had a sitting/living room area and a "bedroom" that... more

I had stayed at the Driftwood a few years ago and loved it, so when an opportunity to return presented itself I was very happy to go. The room I had stayed in the first time wasn't available, so I stayed in one in the B building. The suite was much smaller, more dated in ambience and strangely laid out.... more

My Mother and I stayed here through RCI when we were visiting my sister and her husband. It was perfect! There is not a bad thing I can say except for the rainy days we had the whole week, oh well. The location is perfect for walks on the beach or around town. Vero Beach is very quiet and early... more

After reading the reviews of the Driftwood Resort, I went with an open mind. What I ended up with was a wonderful vacation. The room I had was actually a "cottage" (119) that had a open living room, dining room and full kitchen with 2 bathrooms and one bedroom. The one bathroom had a large shower, the other included a... more

We stayed a week at the Driftwood Resort during Thanksgiving week. Being honest, I was a little afraid since I read the reviews, and when my husband told me about the Thanksgiving trip, I almost drop dead. The hotel is pretty, but it needs more care, they have a pc with internet and wireless for the guests and a bunch... more

I could not have been more pleased with my stay at the Driftwood Resort. Those reviewers who say differently can't possibly have stayed at the funky, eclectic place, literaly dripping with history and the friendliest staff I have ever encountered in my 50 plus years of travel. My room was a studio in the biggest building on the property. It... more

While visiting an aunt in vero beach she recommended a hotel on the beach for our family. She said we would love this place. I called the hotel directely and booked a 1 bedroom suite for $130 a night on the beach! When we arrived at out hotel we were amazed. The hotel is a historical landmark built in 1937.... more

My family and I (2 adults, 2 teens) had a 3 day stay at the Driftwood. The place was a little more laid back and casual than I was expecting, at least from their website. I can't complain about the room we had, room 120, ground floor of building A, except that it had no view. Couldn't see the ocean... more

Can't believe the horrible review I just read from the people who stayed here in Mar. of 2006. We had our usual room on the first floor and dearly love the place--so much so that we already reserved the same room for next year. Restaurant food was good (we only ate there once) and reasonable with generous helpings. In fact,... more
