Every Father's Day we get together with our friends from Cape Coral. This year we decided to meet in Tarpon Springs for our getaway. After considering a number of lodging options, we chose to stay at Ashley's Victorian Haven. After our 3 hour drive from Okeechobee, we arrived at the B & B. We were greeted by Barbara, the proprietor,... More

This is such a sweet property, quaint, comfortable and centrally located to the Sponge Docks and Historic Downtown Antique District. We had a great time. The owner, Barbara, is great and WOW--she can cook! If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary and homey, this is the place for you. We'll be back for sure.

My husband and I usually resent our necessary, semi-annual trips to Florida. It is hard to find a place with a variety of activities that doesn't include horrendous traffic and noise but we found a winner here in Tarpon Springs. The town is sweet, safe and interesting. The strong Greek presence and traditions have shielded it from a lot of... More

I was passing thru Tarpon Springs to visit friends and typically don't like to stay in cookie cutter hotels, so Ashley's sounded great to me. When I got there, I was delighted to be shown to the little cottage 'Jewelbox'! I loved staying here. The resident (outdoor) cats visited me when I sat outside, which made me feel right at... More

We were looking for a spot in Tarpon Springs close to the docks. Oddly, there are very few hotels there, at least not in our price range, but a TA forum recommended Ashley's, and we were delighted. The house dates to the 19th Century. Décor is homey, the beds comfortable, the temperature perfect. The greatest thing about it is the... More

My husband and I made reservations for the private cottage at Ashley's Bed & Breakfast. We drove five hours only to be greeted with the news that the cottage was occupied. First we were told that the current guests lied to her and said they were not due to leave for another day and that she believed them and so... More

Showed up early, while I was still cleaning. Offered a complete upgrade, as I was still cleaning, did not have paperwork ready, I was willing to do anything possible, as I had your upgrade and , a ,1000 square foot suite for you.You were not interested at all. I appreciate the fact that 99.99 % of my business, are repeats... More

Mrs. Barbara was an incredibly gracious host. The breakfasts she prepared in her 100+ year old cast iron skillets were phenomenal and her cheesecake is not to be missed. Staying with Mrs. Barbara was like staying with a favorite Aunt. She is so thoughtful, she even made a batch of the most delicious, from scratch, chocolate cupcakes for our 2yr... More

My wife and I have stayed multiple times at this location, and it has been consistently outstanding! The rooms are splendid and Barbara is wonderful. The front porch is a great place to unwind. It is clearly the best accommodation in Tarpon Springs (we live in Tampa) You can walk to several appealing locations, including the park, downtown and Sponge... More

My partner and I arrived at Ashley's B&B on New Year's Eve 2015 and stayed for two nights. The owner, Barbara, greeted us as we arrived with a warm and friendly welcome. Throughout our stay, Barbara went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was pleasant. Each breakfast (french toast, bacon, fruit, coffee, tea, quiche) was absolutely delicious and... More

Stayed in the upstairs suite, where you get the entire floor to yourself. Beautifully decorated room with an extremely restful, comfortable bed--which we wanted to take home with us. Inn is situated between Tarpon's small historic downtown area (good for restaurants and antique shopping) and the tourist-oriented sponge dock area, which was conducive to enjoyable after-dinner strolls. So much of... More
