Marie and Dick are the BEST!! My husband and I were in Tarpon Springs to purchase an engine for our 69 MGC. I found this wonderful B&B on b&bonline. We couldn't have been happier. I only wish we could have stayed longer. Our 3 days flew by. Our hosts were so welcoming. The accommodations were immaculate. Tootsie, the pup, is... More

We stayed for two nights and it was wonderful. It is run by a lovely couple. The place was immaculate. There was wifi in the room. For breakfast there was fresh fruit, an assortment of teas if you did not want coffee, juice as well as an assortment of toasted bagels and spreads. I would definitely stay there again.

We just returned from another lovely Florida vacation and a second stay at the East Lake B & B. As was the sentiment in my first review, it was again like staying with old friends. We spent a good part of each morning visiting with Dick and Marie before heading out sightseeing. Wanted to book again in March 2014, but... More

Marie and Dick made my two-night stay in Tarpon Springs a joy. Their house is lovely, far enough out to be private and quiet, yet close enough in to be a short drive away to the restaurants and sponge docks of Tarpon Springs. The extensive grounds offer the peaceful shade of live oaks and a porch-type swing to relax in.... More

We have never stayed at a B & B before, and from the moment we walked in we felt as if we had known Dick and Marie forever. The accommodation is a bedroom and bathroom one one side of their home. It is fairly private but does not have a separate entrance. It was so enjoyable, we could have spent... More

Staying with Marie & Dick seemed like staying with family. There house is immaculately clean and very private. They live in one end of the house, and rent out the other bedroom. It only accomodates up to 2 people, with your own private bathroom. For me it was perfect. I drove out to spend a weekend there to enjoy some... More

I stayed for two nights with my daughter and our stay was perfect. By the time we left, we felt like we had known our wonderful hosts for years and it was hard to say good bye. The room was spotless and very comfortable and close to all that we wanted to see. As my daughter and I drove away... More

Dick and Marie, and their immaculate East Lake B&B, made our stay in Florida most enjoyable by starting each day off with smiles and conversation, along with an excellent home-made delicious hot breakfast including, as a first course, fresh citrus, both oranges and grapefruits, right from their own trees in their backyard. You just can't get any fresher and healthier... More

This was our second visit to Marie and Dick's inn and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in the Tampa area. East Lake is a hidden gem and Marie and Dick are the most wonderful hosts you could ever want. They are such welcoming and warm folks that it makes you sorry when the time comes to leave. But we will... More
