I stayed in this hotel with my family in May while we went to Busch Gardens. The hotel was very nice and clean and very convenient to Busch Gardens. We had two young children (2 and 5) and took them to Busch Gardens two days. This hotel was outstanding. The breakfast was exceptional---something for everyone---the staff couldn't have been nicer; our room was very clean and spacious ; and the shuttle service to Busch Gardens was a great time saver. We stayed at this location last summer (2008). The room we checked into in March of 2009 was completely updated. The bathroom had all new fixtures, new tile and a granite or granite-looking countertop. We are a youth group that stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, with 14 rooms each night. With all those rooms, one would think there would be a problem or two. Not with this Wingate! We had a great stay here for 3 nights at the end of July. We had no trouble finding it, having driven from the airport after arriving from the UK.
