I admit I'm a low maintenance kind of traveler. When I go somewhere, all I need is a bed and a shower, and I'm good. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little apprehensive, but was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean and updated. The pool was clean and warm. The room had new furniture, clean sheets, and... more

This was my second trip to this sad hotel...Unfortunately, my admin booked me here....The first time, I did not complain. This time I got to check in and they wanted to upcharge me $25.00 per night for a microfridge...(free on first trip)...Then the TV had snow, the room was old, musty, and of questionable cleanliness. On the second day, I... more

I stayed at this place last June because it was in close proximity to the place where I was taking a board exam. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. The photos of the place on the website look nice...that's because they remodeled the lobby within the last year or two, and it actually makes... more

Probably a great hotel in the 80s. Clean enough for a single guy with no phobias. Adequate hosekeeping, although they did not follow their own water-saving policy of only changing towels left on the floor. One of the four front desk personnel encountered was friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver was friendly and on time. Ignored twice in one day... more

Stayed there 3 nights, hotel was fairly quiet, did not hear any noise from the Bar downstairs. Front desk lady was extremely rude and not very cooperative when I checked in, room itself smelled pretty awful. the bed was not very comfortable, although the bathroom was pretty clean. The good was, the location was very nice, internet was very fast,... more

WHAT A NIGHTMARE! We had flight delays and Delta booked us at this sad excuse for a hotel. Should be a NO TELL MOTEL. I wouldn't let my dog sleep in the bed, the place looked ok from outside, in front, but once you exited the elevator, it was like a bad dream. It was apparent the window had been... more

5-10 minute shuttle to TPA. Shuttle is run by an off-site service and only runs once per hour. DO NOT accept a room over the Green Iguana restaurant. They really crank up the music about 10PM. It's surprising but the Green Iguana seems to be a local nite spot. We ate there because of a lack of other choices. Microwaved... more

A night flight cancellation left a large group of passengers scrambling for hotels. Only two had availability for that night (one being this hotel). The hotel has a free shuttle that leaves for the airport 10 minutes after every hour. The first room I was given had a non-working air conditioner. The air conditioner in the second functioned, but was... more

Was sent here by American Airlines after mechanical difficulties. While they send passengers here, don't think they send employees. Old, dirty, loud, AC problems. There were at least 6 other passengers from the same flight that shared the same, or worse, experience. Will not go back. There was, however, at least one extremely nice waitress at the Green Iguana. more
