Recently spent 4day/3nights at the Doubletree in Tampa near the airport. Debra Johnson at the desk was great and took care of special "stuff" for us. Jenny and Jessica in the restaurant were also very nice and fun to deal with. Sportsbar food was ok, restaurant fare was excellent. Thanks, MB More

I expected a pool view with 2 queens, wifi would be extra, or free in the lobby. Was put in a street view/lanai and free wifi. Room, linens, bath, carpet were fresh, clean and newer. This hotel was clearly renovated and they did a very good job. The lobby is very nice, they offer free parking, and the rooms are very well maintained. I booked though priceline name your own price and was very impressed for the money. Would definately recommend especially if you can get a good rate. More

OK the room was great, nice beds, clean (except around the edges, maids must not be taught that.) Did find a hair in the bathroom, cleaning faux pas 101.
