Spent a lovely weekend here. Hotel was just renovated, rooms and lobby all new. Room could have had a night light as it was very dark and we had to keep the bathroom light on. Didn't dine in their very upscale Italian restaurant but dined in their other two restaurants. The food was delicious but very pricy, especially the drinks.... More

We visited Tampa for our 30th wedding anniversary and once again stayed at the Grand Hyatt. From check in to to check out, our experience was awesome. Karina at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room once again overlooked Tampa Bay. Housekeeping staff was friendly and efficient. Bar staff was excellent. Oystercatchers' brunch was amazing as always. We... More

It's located in an area where you can't directly pull in. You have to do a circle once you get off the highway to get into the hotel. The room itself was very nice. And the staff was prompt and helpful. Overall, a really nice place to stay, just wish it wasn't such a pain to get in and out... More

Chose the Grand Hyatt for its proximity to downtown as well as St Petersburg and it proved to be the perfect choice. We were lucky enough to receive a corner, bay front room upgrade, which on this busy Labor Day weekend was welcome, wonderful views of the bay and daily visits from the dolphins were great. As we were located... More

The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay more than lives up to the reputation of the Hyatt company. With a spectacular westerly facing setting overlooking Tampa Bay, the hotel exudes luxury. The grounds incluse villas outside the main hotel as well as a nature walk. Oystercatchers Restaurant (part of the hotel) does a fabulous job (bit noisy, however). The lobby bar and... More

Stayed here for the Outback Bowl. Did NOT like staying in a casita. It would have been great if it was a couples vacation. It was nice but too detached from the hotel. We did have a problem with one of our doors and it took a lot of coercing to get it fixed but they eventually did. The property... More

Love the property. Quiet, clean and well managed. Do not worry about the proximity to the airport, never heard a single plane in my 4 day stay. Easy in and out, kudos to this property for offering free, covered self parking! Only drawback is there are no restaurants, shopping, etc in the immediate area. Not a real problem if you... More

The hotel was good but the service was amazingly horrible. The hallways were noisy and despite my complaints at 2 am there was no action from the security. Had to call around 5pm on both days for room cleaning for some reason not something they do or dont care to do if you dont call them for it. No manager... More

We spent one week at thiis hotel and it was great. The food was good, rooms were excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. Meals were a little pricey, especially breakfast where you don't expect to spend so much for bacon, eggs and coffie. I don't so much mind dinner and drinks but first thing in the morning high... My husband and I stayed here over labor day weekend while house hunting in Tampa. The location is perfect, you can be anywhere in less than 20 minutes and it is only a few minutes from the airport. Our room was spotless and had a fantastic view. The room was spacious and very clean. Our bed was comfortable, and we... More
