My wife and I stayed here this weekend for the U2 concert. I was able to get an excellent price for the room and the hotel made for a very enjoyable weekend. The Hyatt is a well appointed downtown hotel that has been updated recently. The rooms are not large, but comfortable and well decorated. The pool is on the... more

I stayed there a little over a year ago and it was not close to what you would expect in a Hyatt. I was horribly disappointed. Now that the remodeling is completed it is back to what a Hyatt should be. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well equipped with flatscreen TV's in-room coffee makers and delicious coffee, wonderful... more

We booked this hotel because we wanted a place that was downtown, within walking distance to bars and restaurants on the water. And that's what we got. Check in was a breeze, all the staff extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms very comfortable and clean. The pool area is very nice and relaxing. Would go back. more

The staff is EXCELLENT! The room was average. There was a $18 per day charge for vallet parking but I feel it was worth it because we were in and out at all times of the day and night. I was disappointed that the room I was in did not have a refrigarator or microwave. We were on the 17th... more

We stayed one night at the Hyatt before boarding a cruise out of Tampa. We got a great deal on this hotel through Priceline and were happy with the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and appeared to be recently updated. The hallway had a funky smell, like cat pee, but I assume that was a one off thing.... more

The Hyatt is a nice hotel. Convenient for business downtown. The roomservice for breakfast was good. The first morning I had the Fritatta and it was very good, the next day I had the banana pancakes and they were just ok. Bathroom was small. All the staff were friendly. My one complaint was the bed. I have traveled alot recently... more

We stayed here for one night pre-cruise. There were 8 of us so we had two rooms. We had a very early flight and arrived at the hotel around 9:30 a.m. We were just hoping they would store our luggage for us and let us use the pool until the rooms were ready. But luckily for us, they had rooms... more

If I had paid full rack rate, I would probably have a diffierent opinion but two nights at just over $100 from on online source made it too good to pass up. I was going on a cruise and the price for some place close to the terminal was great. The property is very nice, but everything is expensive, from... more

We stayed here to see the fireworks at Channelside and Cirque du Soleil at St. Pete's Times Forum. Location was ideal, within walking distance. it was also a short trip out to Ybor City. The hotel was not as plush as some Hyatts but was plenty nice enough. Good restaurant and coffee shop. The pool was outdoors and heated (not... more
