If I had paid full rack rate, I would probably have a diffierent opinion but two nights at just over $100 from on online source made it too good to pass up. I was going on a cruise and the price for some place close to the terminal was great. The property is very nice, but everything is expensive, from... more

We stayed here to see the fireworks at Channelside and Cirque du Soleil at St. Pete's Times Forum. Location was ideal, within walking distance. it was also a short trip out to Ybor City. The hotel was not as plush as some Hyatts but was plenty nice enough. Good restaurant and coffee shop. The pool was outdoors and heated (not... more

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. There are both pros and cons to the the place. It's not so bad, but it's not so great, either. We stayed at the Sheraton Riverwalk the last time we were in Tampa and wanted to try the Hyatt Regency to see which one we liked best, as... more

Using Priceline, my husband and I booked 2 nights at the Hyatt Regency for just over $100 total after taxes. We are Florida residents who were in town to attend a couple concerts and decided to stay in the area so we didn't have to drive home afterwards. Upon our arrival my husband asked the Check-in desk attendant for a... more

Unfortunately that was the response of the woman working at the Avanare (coffee/breakfast area) when I asked her for some napkins and utensils. This person put a damper on my impressions I had, everyone I had before then gave exemplary service, no complaints. This woman was curt and unresponsive to any questions or requests I had. I She was curt... more

I was staying one extra night in Tampa and decided to try Priceline. Got an unbelievable price ( could not have stayed at Days Inn for the price ). My only disappointment was the pool. Very few chairs and were all in use. Also the pool gets limited sun due to the surrounding tall buildings. Rooms were very nice and... more

I was here for business -- one night. Nothing fancy about the place. It's right downtown -- I didn't venture beyond the hotel because the downtown area didn't look so safe. The staff is rather snotty. But for business it has everything you need. more
