The hotel is clean and somewhat modernized. The drawbacks that I found is that you hear everything that is going on in the hallway and in the floor above you, and that you have to walk across the parking lot to get to the pool. Other than that it is very inexpensive and fairly close to town and the attractions. more

I have a mixed review about this LaQuinta. This is, by far my favorite hotel chain. This one was average at best. Good location of I75, on a busy road, so that lends itself for road noise. Pleasant staff. LOTS of restaurants and shopping in this area. Good breakfast, although they only have it till 9am on weekdays, which to... more

From the outside I was a little disappointed when I pulled up to this hotel. Very plain and a weird Mexican temple shape I guess you could say. I expected run of the mill motel service with mediocre accomodations. What I got was very nice hotel lobby and breakfast area with equally nice rooms. Very well decorated. The stay was... more

We stayed overnight here because we were seeing a concert in Tampa. The location was very convenient. The rates were good, check-in was smooth and the rooms were very nice, comfortable beds AND clean. However, I think when they built the hotel, they neglected to put in any insulation. You could here everything in the rooms above and next to... more

Very clean hotel, really nice rooms, friendly customer service. We stayed in this hotel for the Outback Bowl and was not far from the stadium. Easy access to Busch Gardens as well. We stayed in a terrible hotel on I-95 the night before for $50 and couldn't believe how nice this hotel was for only $20 more per night! more

Wow, where to start! Good thing first -- staff was friendly and our requests were met (i.e. shaver, area information, etc.). Now to bad -- room was very dirty. Bathroom had dozens of strands of hair along tub and a dirty mark in the toilet. And the fan wasn't working. Vanity area floor was so dirty that when I wiped... more

The Baymont was okay. I stayed here while I attended the Sun n Fun fly-in in Lakeland, FL. The rooms could've been cleaner and less threadbare. The front desk folks were helpful, but didn't go overboard with the customer service. While complimentary breakfasts are usually sugar/carb fests, I was surprised that no fruit was available. It was relatively inexpensive and... more

As you walk down the halls in the Baymont Inn & Suites in Tampa (Brandon/Tampa) at 602 South Falkenburg Road, you will immediately smell a musty stench before you even enter the rooms. Eventhough I was in a smoking room; the odor in the room was not from smoke and was worse than the odor in the hallway. There were... more
