It must be busy in Tampa. This Hampton Inn is ok but cost $200 for one night. My first room absolutely stunk but they quickly moved me to another room which was much better. Other than the stains all over the desk chair. Breakfast was disappointing with no fresh fruit to be found. Parking is tight and a bit of... More

Dear Bigfishlaw, Thank you for your feedback. We were very disappointed to learn of your experience and have followed up internally to ensure it is not repeated. Although our "in season" rates are in line with the Tampa Bay Area please be assured that our "out of season" rates are lower. Additionally, the Hilton HHonors program does provide for some... More

The staff was most friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was cleaner than clean and appeared to be recently redone. Lots of choices for breakfast. The shuttle service was greatly appreciated since we did not have our own transportation. We found the shuttle readily available any time we requested it. We enjoyed visiting with the... More

The hotel itself is nice and clean, however it is in a bad location. The train tracks are so close that the trains will wake you from sleep. The night I was there the trains went by as late as midnight and as early as 6 a.m. The parking lot is not easy to manage and seemed unsafe. The complimentary... More

Dear Brzygal, Thank you for your feedback. I was very disappointed to learn that your stay was interrupted by the train. Although the Amtrak schedule calls for arrivals and departures between 1030AM and 530PM there are times when they are unavoidably delayed. I am happy to say that it is a very rare occurence here in Ybor City. We hope... More

Ybor city is a great area and there is lots to do within walking distance. The streetcar will take you to downtown Tampa. Lots of people stay here to catch the cruise ships so the breakfast are is a busy but it was fun to sit and talk to strangers.

My wife, son, and I stayed here for the Outback bowl December 31, 2012 - January 2, 2013. It is in the historic district of Ybor City, there was a parade downtown for the game, and then a fireworks' show over the bay which was about 5 blocks away (but viewable from the hotel). The beds were comfortable as ever,... More

The main reason that I booked at this hotel was because of the location and I was not disappointed. When I return to Tampa, I will definitely stay here again. It was great to be able to get out and walk to all of the shops, bars, and restaurants in the area. The room was updated and modern. The bed... More

Stayed here for one night in December. The staff was nice, but clearly overwhelmed. A number of guests showed up at checking time and the rooms were not ready resulting in long waits. There is very little parking in the garage attached to hotel so you end up in a side lot across the street which late night might make... More

My boyfriend and I had never been to Ybor City, but decided to give it a shot. We decided to stay at the Hampton Inn because it was in an ideal location, right in the middle of downtown Ybor City. The best feature about this hotel is the location, one block from the tram station that goes to locations such... More

Stayed here on business and found the staff warm and helpful. The property is very well maintained and rooms were clean and quiet. There is a small pool and fitness center to relax or get some exercise. The breakfast was normal Hampton Inn fare and was kept stocked. Just a few minutes from the heart of downtown and easy walking... More

Upon first seeing where the motel was that my wife had booked about a mile from where we were catching our cruise; I was skeptical that this was a wise move. Fortunately, as we walked around the area during the mid afternoon and early evening; my fears were allayed. The motel is very closely located on the TECO cable car... More
