Hotel is clean and neat. Front desk very helpful. Beds OK. One restaurant closed at lunch but you can access all menus at the one that is open. Charge of $20 for overnight parking is extremely high. The hotel is beautiful and the service is great, the only draw back is the location is poor. There is nothing that one wants to see in walking distance. There is a tolly that runs from across the street to different places but I don't like waiting for a bus or trolly to run. I would stay at the hotel... more

Stayed here for 5 days at a recent conference. Always impressed with Marriot hotels and services.....yes it is expensive but worth it for the location. Hotel grounds: good restaurants and lobby area along with bar. Free/fast Wifi in lobby which is nice. Also has an area where you can log on and print out your boarding pass.....very nice indeed. I stayed at the Tampa Marriott Waterside for a week in April 2009 for a conference. As one might expect with a Marriott property, the rooms were good, the bed was good, the shower was hot, and the TV worked properly. Checkin and checkout were efficient.
