Simply splendid! The front desk staff welcomed me very cordially. Within 30 minutes of being in the room, the staff called to see if everything in the room was ok and asked if I needed anything. That's service! The room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom, complete with granite countertop, was also clean and well-stocked with... more

We stay in this hotel all the time when visiting our child at FSU. It has a great location in a beautiful part of town and right up the hill from the campus. Saturday mornings there is a farmers market next door on Park Avenue which is nice and the Friday night party on FSU football home games is a... more

Hotel did not tell us streets would all be closed because of festival. Could not get to hotel till after 4:00. Was told to park as close as possible and walk. We were in the middle of a severe thunder storm and I am handicapped. When we finally got to our room it had not been cleaned from the previous... more

Average conference hotel, perhaps a little more stark and shabby than most. The elevators are painfully slow, and it can take quite a long time to get an answer when you buzz the front desk. The hot water, too, can be a long time coming when you're hoping to take a shower. However, the staff could not be more friendly... more

I see many negative reviews of the hotel, but I experienced quite the opposite. As a Hilton Diamond member I stay in many hotel rooms each year and can be quite critical when things aren't right, but I experienced no problems at all with this property. The check-in process took about a minute and I was on my way. I... more

This Doubletree property is centrally located in downtown Tallahassee. It has a few ballrooms, conference rooms, a restaurant and bar, room service, Starbucks in the lobby, a business center with 2 computers, Wi-Fi, a pool, garage parking, a workout room with water and 3 cardio machines, and a comfortable lobby. The staff was really friendly to me. The food from... more

I got a "great" rate on priceline for this room, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was as wonderful as it was. The room was spotless, and the beds were amazing. A fresh duvet was folded at the foot of the bed, so no disgusting bedspread to throw on the floor upon arrival was a breath of fresh air.... more

I just returned from a one night stay for a wedding at this hotel. Upon check in you are greeted with a friendly smile and a cookie! The hotel restaurant was excellant, as we had breakfast and dinner. Within walking distance to great attractions! The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is clean and updated. more

Took reservation but did not hold it for an adjoining room nor foldout beds. Took separate rroms and had teens sleeping on the floor and in a chair one night. Mgt. still took an hour to unlock the linen closet and provide padding to sleep on the floor. One elevator not working all weekend. Another had us locked in until... more

The DoubleTree Tallahassee exceeded my expectations. Parking was a snap, even though the spaces in the garage are a little tight. It's $6/day to park yourself - very reasonable in my opinion given the "downtown" location of the hotel. Check in was a breeze, the front desk was very helpful. I got the room I requested - king bed, non-smoking.... more
