I just returned from my stay at this hotel with a large group of family. First, check-in is at 3 pm, however, we did not arrive until almost 6 pm. We booked five rooms and all of them were not ready! Even though you can enter the building with your room key, it was very inconvenient for my elderly grandmother... more

I registered at the hotel on a Thursday afternoon, nursing an ailing back. After spending two nights at this hotel sleeping on their plush, comfortable beds, I walked out feeling refreshed and pain free. The staff was very helpful with faxes and directions and the new Applebee's restaurant is great. I will stay at this hotel again the next time... more

Booked 4 rooms for 5 nights for business. Front desk was friendly at check in. As mentioned, elevator is down six steps from lobby. Elevator and hallway carpets were filthy. Bathroom light did not work in my room. I had no cold water in bathroom sink. It had been turned off due to a leak. An associate left room for... more

My wife and I went to Tallahassee for a family wedding this past weekend. The wedding was on the 18th. Due to a misunderstanding, I booked a room at the Graves Road Holiday Inn, a much better hotel than this one. However, when we arrived I discovered no one else in my family was booked into that hotel. There were... more

I booked this hotel on Priceline for two nights. After night one, I checked into a new hotel. The room wasn't horribly dirty or anything, but there were some major problems. The drains in the bathtub are unusable, and none of the lights in the room worked. I had to keep the bathroom light on the entire time. The parking... more

Location good, front desk friendly, physical plant old/dumpy and I would never stay here again. Did not compare favorable to nearby options such as Comfort Inn/Suites, Marriott, etc. which I have stayed in. Room musty/moldy smelling, A/C either freexing or hot. Lobby is 10 steps up from the elevator and is not handicapped friendly (I am able bodied myself) as... more

Yes, it's been updated - new carpet, mattresses, etc. There were still roaches in the bathroom, both tiny ones, and monster ones. The bathtub drain was very slow, leaving one ankle-deep in water after a shower. Ground floor rooms which face the street are QUITE loud, especially if there are rowdies in the parking lot. The first floor is odd,... more

The staff was consistent friendly and attentive. I was especially impressed with the general manager. He has his desk in the lobby making himself available and accessible to everyone. For cleanliness and service, I give this hotel a 10. more

Staying here for business is OK...but for a Holiday Inn, the place is below par. The restaraunt has a poor selection of generally bad food. Would recommend the Hampton Inn down the street for better quality and cleaner rooms. more

It's major selling point is its closeness to downtown, literally minutes away. The price was adequate for what I received. Sufficient parking but the hotel is built on a hill so to get from the lobby to upstairs floors with your luggage, you need to descend a few steps to get to the upstairs elevator. At the other end of... more
