This was a 'last minute' stop for us after a long trip and too tired to continue. Pulled in as was greeted with a friendly smile and nice service. The rate was well within our budget. We had a King, no smoking room with a nice desk for computer work. The room was very clean, and bathroom looked recently redone.... more

This was a good stay for the price, we got a deal for a few nights. The pool was closed but the location is interesting. The Hotel is kinda built into a hill, the room was nice but a little dated. I guess I would say the hotel would have been really nice 10 years ago, but now it's looking... more

This place by far is one of the worst places I've ever stayed. When we got to our room and opened the door there were leaves all over place. No big deal ...I just sweep them out. I had to move the table back to make room for my dog bed and it looked like the carpet had never been... more

very tired, older hotel, odd configuration of buildings, some with very unattractive entrances - the walkway to our room is really bad - walking past mattress frame, open, dirty appearing work closet with doors left open, expected a better room for having been a frequent traveler over the past five weeks and in their points program,. The room was overpowered... more

Average room, nothing special. I had a "basement" room, which was pretty dark. I used a coupon when I arrived and was given that rate. After I got home I looked at my Credit Card statement and saw the hotel had charged me two times. Once for the amount of the coupon plus tax, and the second time for the... more

We booked a room for two nights at thi hotel while we were down in Tally to take our son to school. Thinking we needed no frills, we figured this was fine and inexpensive. I guess the saying you get what you pay for applies to this hotel. Our room was musty, the air conditioner smelled, the curtains would not... more

If you find pictures of the hotel they are taken from angles that make this hotel appear to be similar to other La Quinta hotels. I have stayed at 10+ different La Quinta hotels accross the US and this was my least favorite. It was probably a very nice hotel 15+ years ago, and they mention newly renovated in some... more

We didn't know when we booked our 4 night stay that school bus loads of kids would be staying on the same floor. The clerk who checked us in said the kids in the school bus parked outside would be staying in a completely separate building. The clerk also failed to tell us that the pool would be open until... more

I've found La Quinta hotels to range from excellent to poor, and this one ranks at the lower end of the spectrum. The property is old and did not seem very clean. Fortunately we arrived at 10:30 at night and left at 8 am the next day, so didn't spend much time at it. When we arrived in our room... more

I stayed at this LaQuinta for three nights in early May, 2008 while in Tallahassee for a conference. The hotel is located at the southeast corner of US 27 (North Monroe) and I-10. I found it to be a pleasant stay. Currently there is road construction on both I-10 and North Monroe due to widening of the roadways, but it... more
