We stayed here during FSU's Parent's Weekend and it was also the Hotel Duval's grand opening weekend. Although they had some mechanical challenges, the hotel manager and his staff were so very accommodating and gracious that they overcame those issues with flying colors! First let me say that this hotel is beautiful and has a lot of potential to be a great property. The staff is delightful but several things were very unaccpetable like: no elevators working, no food in the entire hotel between 2-4PM, no in room dining until 5PM. My friends and I stayed at the Hotel Duval this past weekend. This hotel is brand new and it is awesome. The lobby is very sheik and the bar was packed. Definitely a new local hang out. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the rooms were soothing. A very cool bathroom with glass doors and a waterfall shower head.... more
