We're always looking for alternatives to chain hotels and The Little English Guesthouse fits that bill perfectly. It's set in a nice part of Tallahassee, close enough to the center but equally very quiet. Plenty of restaurants within close distance. The B&B is run by a charming English Lady, Tracey. As you'd expect the place is full of almost cliché... More

What a great little place to stay! We were only in Tallahassee one night and decided to try The Little English Guesthouse. It's a lovely change from a hotel chain. It's in a very central and pretty part of Tallahassee with several top restaurants just a short drive away. Tracey is a wonderful hostess and ready to help with any... More

Comfortable, welcoming, friendly and personalised, The Little English Guesthouse provided a perfect stay for two ex pats and visiting English guests. Tracy provided the very personal touches that make a B&B stay such a great experience. The rooms were decorated in styles to match their names and were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and there was... More

It was such a laid back and relaxing stay. The atmosphere was warm, comfortable and personal. Not the cold, generic and sterile feel of a hotel. Tracy appreciated us and it reflected in our treatment.

Thank you for your kind words! We're trying to tell the world that a chain hotel with it's generic, cold, sterile "ambiance" is not the way to have a relaxing night away from home, so your comments hit the nail on the head! Help us tell the world - we have a page on "that" large social media site, so... More

Quaint, spacious property in quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping, dining and interstate. Stayed here as an overnite stop for long road trip. Room was spotless and interior decorated in British style. Very comfortable bed....fully stocked refrigerator in common area (ice cream!) and very nice sitting area overlooking the spacious front yard. Felt at home...breakfast was self serve assortment of breads,... More

Jolly good show! Thanks for your positive comments, one of the many benefits of staying in a real bed & breakfast is that it's usually spotlessly clean! And without a hundred guests wandering the hallways like a big chain hotel, it's easier to get some peace and quiet. Look forward to providing you a PROPER nights' rest again! More

We're moving to Tallahassee soon and needed a place to stay while searching for a new home. The Little English Guesthouse was a perfect base for us to use while driving around town. It's easy to find, very comfortable, the the hosts were truly lovely. They gave us great tips about what to see in town too!

We loved staying at The Little English Guesthouse. I grew up in Tallahassee and had not been back in many years. Tracey was a gracious hostess and made us feel so welcomed. She was very helpful in restaurant suggestions and locating different areas in Tally. The garden that her husband tends was beautiful to look at. Just wish I had... More

From the time I booked my overnight stay at The Little English Guest House, the experience was excellent. Tracey called and gave me easy-to-follow instructions for how to access my room, and in the morning she was a considerate hostess. Breakfast was available, and we shared a pleasant conversation. Additionally, for folks who prefer privacy, Tracey made me feel comfortable... More

Our one-night stay was wonderful. The Little English GuestHouse was a great introduction for my daughter to bed and breakfasts. We loved the room with its own bathroom and 2 luxurious bathrobes. The dining room setup was a pleasant surprise with refrigerator (stocked with drinks and fruit) and snack options.

We hope when you return you'll stay for more than just the one night! Our commitment to NOT be like other places and "surprise" you with a bill for every little tiny thing is what makes us offer complimentary snacks and beverages. Glad you noticed (and appreciate!) it. Look forward to seeing you both again! More
