Room very small and smelled musty, carpet was dirty looked as if it had not been cleaned in several months. Comforter on bed had holes in it, sheets did not fit bed. Dead cockroach on bathroom floor, furniture falling apart. Not maintained very well, young man @ desk was very cordial and courteous. Housekeeping knocked on door @ 8:30 am... more

I have stayed this Microtel Inn and suites several times and no any complains at all with all of my stays. It is located just right of I 10 with major franchise restaurants close by. FSU and downtown is just 4 miles. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is tight in budget, do not want fancy amenities and... more

Our stay at the Microtel was fine, having stayed in Tallahassee on many a football weekend the Microtel fit the purpose. Clean room, safe location, and decent price ($100) especially for a football weekend. Clean room, not very big, decent breakfast but don't expect any frills this is not the Hyatt suits its purpose. more

The staff did the best with what they had available. But not at all up to par with other Microtel's we've stayed at. We arrived late with intention of having small child sleep on sleeper couch. It was never made from previous stay! Went to call front desk, and phone didn't work. Moved us to another room, and that sleeper... more

Just OK. We had a small problem with the air conditioner which they didn't address. Simple breakfast. Internet slow. Great location. The room rate was too high because of a big football game - so value was low for us! more

I loved my stay at Microtel. My husband and I went out of town for Valentine's Day and couldnt afford a really fancy hotel. But staying in one of the suties at Microtel made us feel like we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton. I will tell everyone I know about them. My husband and I plan to go back in September... more

For $49 I really can't be that critical. I travel a lot on business and I have really noticed that hotel prices are getting out of hand. I mean the whole hotel points thing has gotten some people out of control. Anyways, I stayed here to balance out my hotel budget. They had high speed internet and continental breakfast like... more

The location was perfect. Just off I-10 & right on N. Monroe St; which leads straight to the Capital. It's nothing to write home about but it's fine for a business trip or if in town for anything College related. One flaw: The iron board & iron were at the front desk. I had to go to the desk to... more

OK, so I'm taking my daughter up to FSU for freshman orientation. Need I say more? Of course we're broke as college takes all the money in the world. So we decided to go low key and booked the Microtel Inn. First of all, it's really convenient, right off I-10 at Thomasville Road. Looks nice from the outside. Room was... more
