We are staying here for a night. Like everyone says it is a no frill campground. We booked over the phone for a tent site. Do not book a tent site! Pay the extra money for a hookup site whether you will use it or not. The tent sites sit on a rocky path between a marsh and the lake.... More

Experiences can vary, but I must say that this has been one of my favorite places to camp on our trip around the US. The staff has been nothing but courteous and attentive, even offering to help us back in. The sites are small, but who would expect on a micro island to have a huge piece of real estate?... More

Nice campground, but à little bit depending which spot you get. We had à spot at the water, with shade, it Gents really hot here. The only disturbing thing was the no see um's, nasty little musquitos, lots of them. Take your repellent with you when you go outside. Showers little bit old And dirty, but What can you expect... I stayed there with my girlfriend for just one night in june 22, 2013. The staff is very friendly. I asked for a site with shade in front of the lake and that's exactly what I got. The view was amazing, the lake is very nice. The bathrooms were ok, they could be a little cleaner but it was acceptable... More

I really rely on these reviews when deciding where to book so I am going to try my best to write a review that touches on everything I wish I had known. We camped for one week in May on site 12. It was a sunny site with no shade at the entrace to the campground. I wouldn't recommend the... More

I was wary of staying here after the negative reviews I read, but they couldn't have been further from the truth. We stayed there in the middle of July for three days and had a wonderful time. Everyone was so nice. When we first got there we would have liked a different camping space and they said none were available,... More

Very nice campground. It wants to stay quiet and orderly. No parties! Just a couple negatives that seem to be universal in private campgrounds in FL . The bathroom sanitation and cleanliness is lacking as in all the private campgrounds we have ever tried in the Keys. There is no TP usually in weekends( not sure but we think the... More

We camped here for 2 weeks and their web site claimed clean bathrooms, the bathrooms were not clean, there was dirty razors in 2 of the 3 showers for the entire 2 weeks, there was an assortment of bodily fluids including blood in each of the 3 showers, the toilets were a mess and at one time I used the... We have not stayed here - however - we have stayed at the park next door called Lazy Lakes. $20 per night in the Summer - ALL SITES!!! Cable TV. Full hook-ups. GREAT people. Best deal in the Florida Keys so far. They have tent, RV, or 5th wheel sites, Game room, pool table, heated swimming pool. Tiki hut and... More
