Pirates Cove is now charging your credit card 48 hours in advance of your stay. So if you are making reservations for more than one room, you will be charged for your associates room also. Then they will argue about crediting your card. And you may not get credited. At this time, my associate has been charged for his room... More

Oh what a waste of a valuable river front property virtually next door to a mini Key West. Located in Port Salerno, the Pirate's Cove is really a motor inn that if ownership invested properly would be a really fun place to chill out. But alas it appears that having two bars that start happy hour at 3:00PM is really... More

Breathtaking Marina views, awesome front desk staff, awesome restaurant staff. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help. The food was excellent, the room was comfy and casual. It was a fun and lively atmosphere. I can't wait to return.I would suggest all "whiners" stay home. This place is for the young and the young at heart, People who are... More

Stayed here as part of our boat fitting trip from UK in this October, Had sailed passed it many times so thought why not treat ourselves, as it looks very attractive from Manatee Pocket water side. What a mistake. Room on arrival Saturday evening dirty, long black hairs in bath. Dinner served completely non attended as full of locals getting... More

The view was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The food was just average. About the same as any chain diner restaurant. Limited selection on entrees and appetizers. Convenient by boat or car. Other area restaurants are better. Manatee island is a good alternative

Stopped for lunch at the Tiki Bar. Place was reasonably busy, but the service was excellent. Food is okay, but nothing special. I had the Mahi Reuben, but there are other restaurants nearby whose Reuben is of higher quality and better tasting. The garlic chicken wings were average, with the garlic tossed on at the end, but they were not... More

We had dinner last night. It was ok. My crab stuff shrimp was good. You got four shrimp for $23. All the dishes are served with coleslaw not my favorite. For $23 a plate my favorite thing should not have been the mash potatoes. Hubby had fried platter. Again just ok for $23. Timing of the food was terrible. We... More

Our family had dinner at the Marina side restaurant. Enjoyed the great view of the very expensive boats that where docked and coming and going. This was off season so there was hardly anybody here, however we got excellent service and great tasting seafood.
