We were in this area two weeks prior and stayed on I95. When we discovered the charming downtown area and how far the beaches are from the interstate, we knew we wanted to be downtown. We relied on the reviews of the Old Colorado Inn and they were all 100% correct. We stayed in the Cottage and the whole experience... More

Owner Steve Vitale toured me around property and adjacent properties--very kind, cordial and friendly! My room was large with a kitchen and immaculate. A dish of homemade brownies to welcome me on the table... and they were good! (Made by Steve's sister) Hotel is situated right in the heart of downtown Stuart...parking right outside my door. Great place to stay--many... More

The old Colorado in was a wonderful place with nice modern touches. Steve greeted us when we arrived and gave us a good idea of what to do and see in Stuart Florida. The hotel is not close to downtown but is downtown. Stuart Florida is the perfect weekend getaway for a romantic weekend. I will go back there whenever... More

Our stay at the Old Colorado Inn was wonderful! We happened upon it at the last minute and they accommodated us and our dog, Piper. We stayed in the cottage which was private and serene - decorated in a shabby chic motif. We loved it! There was a BBQ which we put to good use! The Keurig coffee pot was... More

We are so glad we discovered the Old Colorado Inn in April! Our only disappointment, back then, was not being able to stay more than one night. This time we came back for a longer stay, to celebrate my birthday, and enjoy the Stuart area. We rented the Cottage for this trip and once again were not disappointed. It was... More

Steve greeted me and carried my bags to my room. The inn renovation is very well done and very clean! Unfortunately my wall unit a/c wasn't turned on much before my arrival so my room was very hot. The exterior halls aren't air conditioned so it made for a very warm start to my visit. After an hour or so,... More

From the moment we arrived, my fiance and I knew we chose the right place for our Fourth of July stay in Stuart. We were met by Steven, the owner, with a genuine demeanor who gave us a non-chalant tour of the Inn as we walked around. The nostalgic charm mixes well with the modernized feel. With the original cabinetry... More

Let me start by thanking the owner- Steve, who gave us great hospitality and a wonderful person. The rooms were clean, smell good, and I love the special touch of the breakfast delivery! None invasive, private and very peaceful. Special thanks to Rosie for great room service.

First of all Steven is a great host. Very helpful in making all arrangements. We stayed the 14th & 15th of June making preperations for my sons wedding at the end of August. We have now booked 5-6 rooms with Steven. We stayed in one of the suites but looked at every room and they are all great. Location is... More
