Agistri is a small island just 1 1/2 hours from Athens. Visitors shouldn't expect endless beaches or wild night life and fancy luxurius hotels. It's a small green island with nice picturesque beaches excellent food and very reasonable prices. Hotel Aktaion is very suitable located right in front of a small sandy beach in Scala. Rooms are clean and equipped... More

A sandy, safe beach lies immediately in front of the hotel, two minutes from the port. The hotel is well appointed, with a clean pool, large restaurant, bar and lounge areas. Sea views are available from the first floor rooms. cleaning is efficient. The noise from the bar next door can be a little loud at night, but you can... More

We stayed here in October/November 2012 and almost had the island to ourselves. There was one other couple staying in the hotel. The benefit of this time was that it was very quiet and peaceful. We were also able to get beachview room for only 30 euros a night. As others have said, we too did not book in advance... More

We staud there only for about 3 hours. The hotel was awful. After saying 3 times that we were 3 people, there were only two beds there. Their garbage was all over the place, opened, we could see the used babie's diapers, the kitchen's window was open and we could see that is was filthy. We also ate in the... More

Many thanks for 10 fantastic days at Aktaion. Everything was working perfect during our stay, Your Hospitality, Services, Kitchen, Cleanliness, the Air condition, the Pool side for the Kids and only have a few metres down to the water. What more can you want? We are coming back next year and some of us already next month.

We got an apartment of 2 rooms at Aktaion, and though the location is very nice, however the accommodation is seriously lacking. We booked an apartment of 2 rooms for 2 people, and though we booked a week in advance, only 2 of the beds were prepared with sheets and towels. The one room had no furnishings other than a... More

This is a clean, professionally-run hotel, with efficient and friendly staff, large clean rooms, with lovely eating area and providing good value for money. It is located right on the seafront, where there is a managed beach (shades, beds, etc.) and good swimming on your doorstep (literally). It is also in Scala itself, so there is a range of eateries...
