On arrival we were welcomed by Gary and shown to our camping pod for the night, he was very friendly and attentive. The pod was everything we needed for camping without a tent! It was very warm and comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. In the grounds are lovely clean well kept toilets and shower/wash facilities. The lodge where there... More

We stayed one night in the B&B accommodation at Big Bear Lodge and it wasn't nearly long enough. The accommodation is fantastic, the views beautiful and the hosts excellent. Gary and Cassie were welcoming, funny, helpful and really easy going. We went to the pub in the evening, Gary offered to take us and pick us up but we chose... More

Myself and my partner came here for two nights, something different for our second wedding anniversary. We orginally booked the glamping pod wolfs paw, a well built, large pod big enough for a double blow up bed, electric hook up and lighting provided in the price. We stayed in in for our first night, on our second night we moved... More

Travelling to Wales for the weekend and looking for somewhere to find to break the trip, we stumbled across this gem. These pods are great (if you don't like the idea, then there is also a 'proper' campsite and even self-catering). These well-built, lovely pods are a great way to enjoy the countryside. You get a pod, lights, heater and... More

This place is awesome! We found it last minute and just needed somewhere to crash for the night, but having stayed for last night, we wished we'd been able to stay longer! The pods are great for glampers, warm, safe and comfortable. Facilities at the sight are very clean, the showers are hot and everything feels very well looked after.... More

My wife and I had the honour to be Mark & Rachel's last guests in the Pod's. Our weekend was once more a great relaxing experience. Set in beautiful countryside with lovely views we settled in quickly. We enjoyed total peace and quiet. There are plenty of things to do, plenty of great sites to visit. This time we enjoyed... We stayed in the Honey Bear room which is in the owner's house directly across the road from the lodge. The bed took up most of it and it was huge and luxurious with loads of cushions and all the usual amenities. The bathroom is not en suite, it is situated just off the tiny hallway next to the room,... More

Very unusual lodge for the area but very well appointed. Comfortable bed and luxury wet room. Beautiful surroundings. Really enjoyed our short relaxed stay. Might try the camping pod on our next visit.

This was an amazingly secluded, secret place down a tiny country road in the middle of beautiful Shropshire countryside. I booked last minute for a bank holiday Sunday evening and booked a camping pod. When we arrived Rach seemed a bit embarrassed to show us round (as it only took a minute) but she needn't have worried. It was just... More
