My wife and I were welcomed by Rufus on our first day of arrival at this Charming, Inviting, Quaint property. It was Blissfully quaint. Lush landscaping everywhere. Our room offered a huge gasp when we walked in. Spotless shining tiled floors, Full sized kitchen, 2 queen pillow top beds and modern glassed in shower/tub. Staff were AMAZINGLY polite, friendly and... More

This is our first time staying at Captiva and when we return, we will be staying here again! The room was cozy with a queen bed and full kitchen. It had everything that you could possibly need. The room itself was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. This resort is located in a small enclave of other resorts and... More

Easy going hotel with private access to an amazing beach. Located on a serene and extremely quiet road this hotel is perfect for throwing your bag down to go to the beach. The room was small and efficient, with a fully equipped kitchen. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for sleeping in but honestly you would be... More

Second vacation we have had at Captiva Resort, our room was fabulous and The Big Show couldn't be more welcoming! She had our room cleaned early, offered to get us anything we needed to make our vacation all that it could be. Love the new landscaping much nicer than before! We will be making this our yearly trip for Labor... More

I'm fully convinced that some people are simply negative and mad at the world. That is the only way I can explain some of the negative reviews of this place. If you are accustomed to a 5 star Hilton with valet parking and a butler, don't book Captiva. However, if you are looking for a nice, tropical beach place, this... More

My daughter and I stayed at the Captiva beach resort during the second week of June. The weather was great many things to do (sailing, beach, pool, night light) the staff was super, Big Show and Side Show were the best, greeted us with welcoming hospitality, made sure our room was kept very clean fresh towels everyday. The room had a... More

We had 3 rooms at this hotel for two nights. The rooms were nice and renovated. But the staff, specially the cleaning supervisor, had an horrible attitude our room was not cleaned after the first night and when we came back from the beach at 3pm and saw that the rooms were not cleaned we spoke with the office guy... We are in the middle of our third week here in as many years ... and it is better than ever ! They are remodeling rooms each year and upgrading the courtyard. "The Big Show" and Erin are wonderful staff and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Many restaurants close, a 7-Eleven across the street, night clubs within... More

First of all, Crescent Beach is one of the nicest places to spend a week - well, at least it was a couple years ago. The resorts at Sara Sea Circle were quaint, quiet, and the beach USE to be uncrowded. Now, it seems that people come to the complex during the day, park in hotel renter's spots, and walk... More

This is not the most modern hotel. However, it is walking distance to the beach on a small road/path within the Sarasea Circle enclave of hotels. You have access to the beach and to a pool. The rooms are outdated but include what you need, bed, shower, fridge, stove, big screen TV and WiFi. Best of all, the rates are... More
