My husband and I stayed in Cottage 5 in mid-August. We were booked for a visit in mid-June but had to reschedule due to having to tend to a family situation. When I called to cancel/reschedule the management (I spoke with Steve) was very understanding. We rescheduled our visit for mid-August and my husband and I were pleased with our... More

I Love Siesta Key, I met my husband in Siesta Key AT this resort on memorial weekend two years ago. We will spend MANY summers in siesta key and, hopefully, move to Siesta Key/Sarasota in the future (that's how much we love it!) ... However, I will NEVER set foot or spend a penny at this "resort" HA! again! Since... More

My husband, myself, and my toddlers stayed at this property from Aug 6-9, we stayed in cottage 6. I have to say I LOVED this property, its cozy, clean, welcoming, and steps from the beach. The manager was extremely accomodating given that I made the reservations the night before check in. He was excellent!!! The property is clean, they provide... More

I went here for a wedding reception, and the management was absolutely horrible to the wedding couple and guests. The worst thing that happened (in a list of bad things) was when the manager blindsided the bride the morning after the wedding and accused her guests of breaking things (that were not actually broken) and actually defecating in one of... My wife, daughter and I stayed in Cottage 1 from 20-21 Jul 2014. The property manager, Steven, was very accommodating and helpful. Reservations and check-in were all accomplished with Steven over the phone. Cottage 1 was extremely clean and contained all the essentials you needed. Siesta Key Village was only a short walk away and had a 7-11, Circle K... More

Pleasant accommodations, we saw more than our own room, the website videos are true. Everything you need is available, beach towels and chairs and umbrellas. Having walked the entire length of the beach, we preferred this end, it is much less crowded.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
When you vacation at Beachpoint on Siesta Key, you create memories. The eclectic cottages of Beachpoint are only 100 yards from the pure white, sugary sand of Siesta Key Beach. BeachPoint Resort Cottages is one of the very few vacation rental properties with direct access to a private area of the beach accessible primarily by foot or bike. Locals love this quiet and less crowded part of Siesta Beach. Our unique hotel offers eye candy everywhere: colorful cottages set in tropical gardens with vivid flowers, funky local art, large open sun decks and shaded courtyards. Gather with new friends in the courtyard, sunbathe on a deck with an ocean view, or hide away in a shady nook for a quiet read. You are just steps from the water and a short 2 minute stroll from Siesta Village, so you may never need to move your car! In the village you'll find a variety of restaurants and several bars featuring live music. You can shop with the locals for everything from groceries to clothes and shoes, books, souvenirs, and even hardware. And there's a US Post Office right in the local drugstore. All the conveniences are easily accessible, but Siesta Key maintains a feeling of old Florida. Locals treasure our pristine beaches which offer a protected habitat for native island birds, as well as the dolphins, manatees and other aquatic wildlife living just offshore. And each evening, locals and visitors walk or bike to our special part of the beach to see the best sunset views on the key. Once you visit the Beachpoint Cottages, you'll see why so many of our guests come back year after year to vacation with us on Siesta Key. ... more   less
