We were served food that was poorer in quality than that served at a LaQuinta, Hampton Inn, or Holiday Inn Express. Slimy hard boiled eggs, along with pre-packaged muffins, bagels and/or waffles are not the fare expected from an upscale property. Additionally, the "chef" wore torn, soiled clothing, acted put-upon if asked to warm a muffin, did not know how... more

I stayed with friends in one of the Cottages, and it was comfortable, beautifully decorated, and conveniently located within walking distance to the beach. Just a few complaints.... for the price, I didn't feel enough attention was paid to preparing a "hot" breakfast. My mom and I went to Seaside and stayed at The Inn By the Sea for Mother's Day. It was wonderful in every way! The Inn is decorated in French Country by Vera Bradley and it is beautiful! You also get a Vera Bradley bag in your room! We stayed in Checkerberry and the room was very spacious and comfortable.... more

This is a really wonderful place. I have always loved Seaside and now I love the Inn by the Sea. How cute! It is decorated by Vera Bradley. If you love to stay at a Bed and Breakfast or Inn then stay here. more
