My husband and I were guests at the Water Color Inn for 4 nights. We were impressed with the friendly, helpful staff and with the facilities. Our room on the second floor had a lovely view of the ocean and felt private enough to warrent sitting on our personal patio every night before dinner. Our room was spacious and attractive.... more

Sayed at Watercolor form my wife's birthday June 9-12,2009 and for the price was disappointed. The room was beautiful and the ocean view was nice. The food at the restaurant "fish out of water" was great. However, the service was below average for a so called luxury resort, especially at this price. The beach chair policy was never explained by... more

My husband and I just returned from The Watercolor and both agree it was one of the nicest anniversary trips we have ever had. I am so glad that we went after the Easter and spring breaks (after what I have read from other guests) because the weather was perfect and most times we felt like we had the place... more

For years I have wanted to stay at the Watercolor Inn and my boyfriend surprised me with an Easter weekend (4-night) birthday trip. We paid $400/night (top/4th floor, deluxe ocean view room). The hotel is nice, but no longer a 5-star in our opinion. It just doesn't compare to a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton resort. My opinion is skewed... more

My husband and I stayed at the Inn when Watercolor first opened 6-7 years ago. The rates were half what they are now and at that time it was worth it. We went again last summer over the week of July 4th with our 3 year old daughter for a family reunion and were extremely disappointed. I t hink it... more

We had an excellent stay at this property for 2 nights to celebrate New Year's Eve. I booked the Dune View room on the first floor. We wanted to be able to just walk out on to the beach. The Dune View rooms do not have a view of the Gulf but have large patios where you can just walk... more

WaterColor Inn is a wonderful beachside resort, the only resort of its quality for miles in either direction along the Gulf Coast. We received an upgrade to gulfview room via hotelbook.com using our Amex card to pay. The first floor rooms are blocked by sand dunes and thus have no views to speak of, so rooms on 2-4 floors are... more

We stayed in the Watercolor Community in the panhandle of Florida the week of June 14-21, 2008. Specifically, we rented a house at 31 Bluejack Street with 2 other families with kids (6 of them) ranging from 10 mos old to 6. The house was fantastic and was everything it was advertised to be. We were very impressed with Watercolor... more

Wonderful boutique inn with a fun, lively pool or a quiet adults only pool. Rooms are spacious, fun, and all have great views, except first floor. Staff is especially attentive and very pleasant. The expense is worth it for a special trip; better without kids, but okay for small children to stay with you in the room on the fold-out... more
