The good:
The location of Commodore's Retreat is outstanding. Off of 30A, so little traffic, and right where Eastern Lakes meets the gulf. Plus, the views from all of the units in Commodore's Retreat are amazing.
The bad:
The condo building is from the early 80s and little, if no repairs and maintenance appear to have been done. Everything seems to be rusting or rotting, to the point that I was nervous on the balconies and open hallways. Out unit #101 was in poor shape and not well maintained. The was literally no flooring in the bedroom, just a painted concrete floor!
There are so many choices along 30A with just as nice views. I will avoid Commodore's Retreat in the future.
