Very disappointed after reading reviews and paying a higher price for this place. Large hole in the carpet, multiple stains throughout the carpet, a poorly done patch on the ceiling, an odd difficult closing non-locking pocket door in restroom in poor condition, and a protruding column into the room. Also, the room in which breakfast is served is cramped and... More

Not a bad place for a one night stay. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The rooms are small and lack refrigerator and microwave. The location is convenient with plenty of parking. There are plenty of restaurants within a 2 mile radius. Breakfast was average for a place like this.

Booked a room with a king bed. The room was definitely not a king suite, no fridge, no bathtub, and very confined. The price was very high even with a AAA/teacher discount. I will say the staff was outstanding & the pool was nice and quiet. Also, a great location to the beaches & Ringling.

Stayed here while in town for a couple baseball games - no frills and was the least expensive in the area. Staff were nice but the rooms are pretty small and dated. Shower is like a space capsule...did not spend any time in the room except for sleeping so it was fine but might spend an additional 10-20$ per night... More

We visited Sarasota during spring break. The price was outrageously expensive. If you pay for the price, you could have stayed at Hilton, Sheraton, etc...in Orlando area. The hotel is very old. They tried to fix things up... but, it is very 70's. When I first walked in, the smell really bothered me. I supposed this hotel used to be... More

Hotel is badly in need or repairs and cleaning. Stained carpet throughout and some one tried to paint over marks in room walls with different colored paint. The hotel is near the airport, which makes the area congested.

We were supposed to have a KIng Suite but it wasn't ready for us at check in so we were offered a two doubles suite instead, Touted as an upgrade. We did not look at the "upgrade" so I guess I may be assuming something without viewing it but I have a hard time thinking two double beds is an... More

This hotel has been around a while, and has seen better days, but although it is in a mild state of disrepair, it is still fairly nice. For example, the lamp shade is crooked, and has been artlessly patched, the sliding door that separates the sleeping room from the bathroom makes a horrible racket when opened and closed (glad I'm staying... Check-in was a little rocky. Got there at 2:10pm after riding in from a long motorcycle trip. Upon arrival we were told check-in was not until 3:00pm. Ok...so I take a seat in the lobby to wait. Five minutes later an older couple walks in, checks in and gets their room key. Um...wait a minute. Why didn't they have to... More

Thank you for taking the time to complete our online survey regarding your recent stay at our hotel. There may be several reasons why you weren't able to check in and another couple could. You likely had a different room type that wasn't ready just yet. We apologize for not making you feel welcome and will be coaching our staff... More

Stayed for 1 night on a sold-out weekend (for sarasota half marathon) and staff was super accommodating, allowing late checkout so racers could shower after the race and not exceed normal checkout times. Bed was amazing and all bedding like new. No complaints here, although I was not around for breakfast, so can't comment on quality of food.
